I’d be interested to here a review from a long time use: in the slow mo it looks like it bounces around a lot.

Honestly we took it off, it wasn't that great...not many holsters work with it, it's a pain to take off and put back on for cleaning etc. we have one on the cube coming soon and itll be more in depth and compare against a few others so we'll do an update to it and show you what happens.

It looks like a fucking nightmare to be perfectly honest. The slow-motion footage made me physically uncomfortable.

@warrenrosen23263 жыл бұрын
I'm skeptical of the way the comp flexes, and how the slide rebounds after return to battery.

That was funny, because we all do it. I at least still point it at the ground anytime I do that. But again, we only do that because we’ve already throttled the slide numerous times, we’re 100% cleared, but we still like the click. Very funny

@@NovemberDelta I'm looking forward to it. Trying to decide on this vs a g34 extended 6" 2 port barrel and DPM recoil reduction guide rod/spring for a CA compliant PDW build. The extended barrel would give more velocity and terminal ballistics but this is around $170 cheaper than that combo.

Thanks for the replys! Actually I already had a Werkz inside the waistband holster, jumped the gun before I found the Massdrive comp. What I ended up doing was to take the holster slowly over a hot air gun and open up the bottom of the holster, then put the Glock with the Massdrive attached the reformed the opening to the comp. Worked Great! Love the Werkz holsters! Thanks again!!

@4:18 As the compensator is returning to its at-rest position mid-cycle, the muzzle - then tilted upwards - is struck by the compensator, which it bounces off of before returning to battery. I didn't notice this until I watched your slow motion footage with my browser slowing it down further to 0.1 of that.

I took mine off after I put pistol in vice and fired while sighting in an trij RMR, a comp should never effect the bullets trajectory left or right and this one did, and I could see marring and scratches where it made contact with the barrel. Was pretty bummed out...so I tried it on another g19,and a 19x....same thing. I wouldn't recommend running much +p through it either, I had some weird barrel slap and funky sounding harmonics. Just Deezys 2 cents. (Really wanted to like it)
@NovemberDelta3 жыл бұрын
Yea its a weird break totally thought it was going to rock but it doesn't seem to give the reduction that you'd think. Cool concept, too much variation:/

The whole thing look like is held in place by one screw everything else on the gun is working against that 1 screw
@9unslin9er Жыл бұрын
I'm not sold on these. You can clearly see the wear it puts on the barrel. This is not a good system to use with a Browning tilt barrel. It would probably be awesome on a Beretta 92. Also, do not like the fact that I need to loctite the guide rod to the locking nut, as I am anal about cleaning, and this is just a glorified ductaping.
@NovemberDelta Жыл бұрын
Absolutely not a choice here, I guess it's an option if you'll be forced to comply in a not free area...? But there are better things that direct thread we're making one now on I think 6 more breaks so that'll be cool

It "helps compensate mass" so then it rewrites phiscs for a brief second to lessen the mass of your gun. Got it 🤣

If you aren't comparing this side by side to a standard comp on a threaded barrel, it's a useless video, and offers nothing of value. All this tells me is something can be better than nothing, but not if it's better than other things.
