Andrew Gutierrez loyalty missions are always a thing since mass effect 1 and the only squad loss is story driven.

@@YepsMr yes but I expected the loyalty mission to have the effect they had in mass effect 2, but but when I started the mission and the game said "you can continue after the ending mission" I understood that they weren't ( i'm not complayining, I loved this game)

@@YepsMr Wrex's loyalty mission does factor into whether you can reason with him on Virmire. Still doable with high enough skill, but the check is lowered if the mission is completed.

To be fair, me1 didn't have such a bad ending either.. you were expecting an me3 ending (where you refuse to activate the main stuff and reapers win, cycle continues.) This is supposed to be a trilogy starter.. or at least new story starter game. Like me1. It wouldn't seem to be a good idea to destroy everything in the beginning.. it might even make it impossible to continue it in the next andromeda game for example unless they did some me2 revive shepard bullshitery... but that wouldn't fit in canon wise anyways, knowing how scarce their resources were. I'd say, maybe the repears will somehow travel dark space all the way to andromeda in like.. the 3rd game. Seems unlikely, but so was shepard dying in all the endings.

I mean you had some hard choices at the end of me1 ... who to save who to let die... and those choices shattered trough all the way to me3 ... here either Tann should have died or some one at least... whatever you do, only the captain lives or dies and you never have to sacrifice a team mate (altough I am happy I did't had to maks a choice like that :D... I liked them all... tough Liam probably is more trauble then it's worth :D)

Bár normális költségvetéssel (40 millióból hozták ki a játékot amit egyenlőnek tartok a csodával, ha pl megnézem hogy a Halo 5nek 250 millió volt a költsége) de azért ennél többet vártam mint a 4. Mass Effect játék, de nehéz lenne azt mondani hogy rossz volt.. én is 100%ra kivittem szóval olyan 60-70 órát bele öltem... folytatásra ne nagyon számíts egyenlőre, hatalmas pofont kaptak a megjelenéskor még a betervezett DLC-t se adták ki amivel bejöttek volna a maradék fajok (Quarians, Drell, Elcor) ugye erre utal az amikor a nexuson ez epilougeban befog a csaj egy hangüzenetet... és a biowarenek az anthem-al is sikerült tátott szájjal beszaladnia a faszerdőbe ... többnyire gondolom az EA nagyszerű közreműködése végett... valószínű ezért lett olyan langyos víz az androméda is :(

Prob would mean jack shit at those speeds. In fact, it's usually done with inertia fields which are essentially seat belt for the whole room, that the captain referenced. But with multiple systems failing power had to be prioritized to the one room with others. I usually take vintage hearsink mods so Nozomi should've invested in vintage seat belt lol

Boxfortress wut???? Seat belts are designed to absorb part of the energy by the restraining mechanisms. Only part of the remaining energy is absorbed by the person, and even then it is diffused as much as possible.

@@persee8134 yeah that seems very odd to me. I know the wiki calls primus a she, but throughout the entire game none of the kett ever use gendered pronouns to describe anyone including themselves. It's only Ryder and the pathfinder team that ever says she or he.

I did the same thing. It's a bit of a bullshit option. The turian "pathfinder" is a spineless, weak twerp. Suddenly, this complete loser factors in at the end of the game? I call bullshit. Not to mention the fact that the asari and salarians will just find an alternate pathfinder. You're telling me that the turians had NO ONE BETTER than this guy? This was the one they sank all of their money into? They didn't have a backup (like the salarians and asari both did)? The one difference maker in this ending is that the spineless, whiny, wimp of a turian joins in? That's pretty ridiculous.

Dunn dies

Yyup, Hyperion captain dies, and no romantic interest to comfort Ryder at the very end. Not much. Also, this doesn't show the whole ending. Mostly cosmetic, but there are shades since the Tempest is preparing with the Remnant Fleet. Based on the 'Allies and Relationships' AKA main side missions completion there are quite a lot of people deciding to band together and help... then again, dunno if it has any real effect or just cosmetic cameos. But yeah, worst case scenario is pretty cheerful.

I don't think it's worse than ME1. It's very subjective in my opinion. ME1 wasn't that cool at first but had a good showdown at the end... quite similar to Andromeda. I can remember pretty well... even though I have played ME2 first, I didn't have that feeling like being attached to the crew characters that much... I just didn't feel connected to them unlike in ME2 and 3. Same goes with Andromeda, but they did a better job than in ME1... but after all the whole thing is not as good as ME2-3. You shouldn't forget that games get more and more expensive and time consuming. Back in the old PS1 days, games didn't take that much time to develop unlike today and all the stuff around it has become way more complex. Publishers are the real problem nowadays, because they like to push game titles to release them on scedule... and they ignore the fact that the game is not ready yet. Andromeda is no exception, you can believe me that... ignore the official commentaries of the devs if needed. You find this truth everywhere! There is only one thing I might agree with you: they didn't learn... at least they concentrated on the wrong places. They should increase epicness, choice consequences, the music needs more speed and power (ME2-3 were perfect) character development, cutscenes, not outsourcing facial animations and stuff like that. Andromeda is really good, but there is something missing... the story is not so dense anymore, most of the music is boring and feels uninspired. The story might be good, but the quests in between are too boring. They don't feel personal anymore. Big exceptions are the loyalty missions, but the old ones were still better. ME2 had brilliant sidequests, they all felt like they had their own story and big epic showdowns... that open world thing makes that almost impossible. That's a shame to be honest.

there is a corny "mission" at the end after you beat the game with 100% viability that says they are going to teraform habitat 7 the old fashion way. that's about it

actually I do remember that, not really a big pay off for this one, maybe it'll have a bigger effect in the next one? Still really hate the fact that Dunn died just because the Turians didn't pick another path finder. Literally all they had to say to fix this is "if you don't tell Avitus Rix to be the path finder, the Turians won't have any path finder". I guess because Macen died and Avitus Rix stepped down there was no one left to become a path finder? I unno, it seemed (and still seems) poorly explained to me.

But then how would there be a bad ending without Dunn dying? The sibling dying? Nah that would be stupid. Why make the bad ending truly bad when you can just make a hastily done ending which really is the same as the good one but with person dying?

But dunn only survives if you let sarissa hide the fact she let her pathfinder be killed... I exposed her but still told her she was right to grab the data and let het keep her pathfinder title. Frankly the ending on why Dunn dies feels arbitrary.

I also exposed Sarissa, but did not let her keep her title and captain Dunn survived in my gameplay saved by Sarissa

I think if you don't do all arks before final mission, or maybe the small choice you made when you let her keep pathfinder title. A guess it might have been the right choice to not let her keep her position.

That's how ME always worked. Also "Rpg/role play game", what's more role-play than long-lasting consequences, shapping your future experiences in-game ? Yes that's how it SHOULD always work. Beside rpg usually refer to the fact you have multiple "classes" (ex: Mage/rogue/warriors.) which ME always had. (ex: Biotic/infiltrator/soldier.)

I understand your point and "mainly" agree. Especially the lack of male romances for Scott Ryder, which the devs said they were going to add more. BUT I do not agree that this game lack choices it's literally one after the other the only thing is no instant consequences. *BTW* I understood the comparison but Ashlee is helping the salarian fight off ennemies, Kaidan is guarding the bomb. That's why you lose one bc they both require help to survive, at the same time in different places.

Also if I'm right. Depending on which "pathfinder" you save, you may get entirely different squadmates or chains of events in the next titles.
