You should look up the videos of the canton select board meetings, huge crowds of canton residents holding up signs, calling for Chris Albert to be removed from the select board, right to his face (in one of the videos, he laughed at a woman and told her she should be embarrassed) and they still won't remove him. It was 11-1, not guilty. The only holdout is a friend of the prosecution. Witnesses say they saw him laughing throughout the trial and after deliberation.

The FBI and Federal Grand Jury found no frame job or conspiracy. Bad behaviour but led to nothing harmful in the scheme of it all. I’m sure he will be fine. He’s been moved out and will probably get a formal warning, keep a job that he will probably like and choose, retire one day and get his pension. Seems fair in the circumstances and if we judge his behaviour we should judge KR’s also …. she’s no angel and who’s was worse and more harmful. She’s been charged with crimes - he has not.

They seem like a sweet, strong and loving family. They didn't bring drama to the court as they watched Karen being humiliated and unjustly tried for a crime she didn't commit. Class. Canton couldn't drag them down to their level.

And therein lies the problem. The impression I have, is the whole system there has got a bit “laid back”, and a “boy’s club” attitude has been allowed to develop. Too much of the “but we’ve always done it this way” has crept in. Whether with bad intentions or not, it has led to a bit of a sloppy, and possibly biased way of working.

Is it the same “leaders” that he shared those texts with? If any case needed an internal investigation, it’s this one.
