A National Guard member does not get to keep and bear that weapon issued to them. It's State property.

National Guard's part of the military, evidenced by the fact that serving in the National Guard qualifies you for veteran's benefits. They are military, not militia.

There is NOTHING about the Second Amendment that would cause it to be treated any differently than the First Amendment, or any other. All are individual rights. Nobody questions that the states can't restrict your FIRST Amendment rights...or fourth, or fifth, or any other. So how can it be OK for them to restrict the Second? Simple...they can't.

My teacher told me that each sentence contained within the Bill of Rights is complete statement by itself and can stand by itself. And yes, it is about those things that the government has no power over
