The Sultan of Scratch. Either the first or second video I ever added to my ASMR playlist (about 300 strong now) was one where he scratched the head of a bongo drum. The effect was the sort of thing I didn't think I could get without having electrodes connected all over my body or something. I still return to it after all these years. I always liked how Dmitri cocked his head and listened to the sounds he was making. His props were instruments, like a musician's.

A true Master. He understands the subtlety of triggers. My favorite is Drawing Mandalas on a chalkboard. Watched it so so many times 💤💤🙏
