You said you wanted to see it so here it is. This is my monochromatic Black BLOB painting where I will show you the full recipe and how I created this wonderful piece over 6 days.

I know this isn't a dynamic technique like you use in most of your videos, but thank you for showing us these blob paintings. So ASMR with all the repetition and organized chaos. Hello guys just to make sure, if you use a canvas you should resin first but a wood panel that is not necessary to resin first. This is such a cool technique. I guess this is the same as dot painting? Wow you two have mstered this technique. I guess you don’t need to resin or varnish when it is finished?

So I resin the canvas on the back or front 1st just to create that flat firm surface, I'll resin the wood boards for the aesthetic. And yes you are right, I love doing these and have some color plans in my head. I just need to get around to them. Because there i varnish in the recipe for the blobs I dont resin or varnish again. I wonder how it would look if you put different colors on the top two blobs. Like putting gold as the second coat on some and silver as the second coat on the others and then maybe do the reverse for the top coat. Oh I see. LOL I would have found out if I hadn't asked in the middle of the video. They are beautiful.

so sorry I missed the premiere. I love putting dots in my paintings so I can see how this would turn into an obsession with me too. It looks like you put the tip of the bottle into the blob in some of some of them. Is that to get an even look to the mounds? I don't know if I should ask this question😋 but what does the "show pony" mean? Or maybe it's a private joke🤔. Anyway, I love your blob paintings! Lol no … so … Jeremy would say his muscles are just for show. That he was a ShowPony and not a WorkHorse. I made a Teeshirt for him that said that and he wore it in the channel and he’s been called the ShowPony ever since

I’ve tried a few different kinds. Some from the dollar store and others from fluid-art.co as long as you can squeeze them youre good

Dumb question though🙃…. Do you mix up paint and blob mixture in cups ( to get well mixed) then funnel into squeeze bottles ?

Not a dumb question at all. Yes I do, the mixture pours so well I dont use a funnel.

When you say 50%, 25% and 25%. Are you talking about each in grams or ounces? Of each???

% means you can use any measurement. As long as it’s half of Mod Podge, a quarter paint and a quarter Liquitex gloss varnish but I use Oz mainly. So for example 8, 4 and 4
