What are your thoughts on Anthem?

EA could have put all this in the Mass Effect, would have make the game better. I missed Mass Effect.

😭 I cry everytime I see this channel and think of all the videos I used to watch about mass effect becuase its a very nostalgic memory that I'll probably never have anything close to again (Not literally cry but it hits the feels)

So far this is a "wait & see" type of game. Nothing I've seen so far has blown me away

Just imagine this game as a strictly Sp story driven game.

Anthem is not fully playable solo (e.g. strongholds) and isn't meant to be anyway; I sincerely hope the people they made this game for enjoy it, but I'll be back for DA4's robust companions, interpersonal stories that aren't BYOB, and role-playing. Hopefully.

Mildly interested, but pissed that Mass Effect, a franchise I'm supremely interested in, had to die to give birth to this. Speaking of dying, Andromeda's failure killed two of my fav channels (Minius and Biofan), and seriously slowed this channel as well. Hope you guys start things up again eventually. Loved listening to your podcasts!

With some of the visual similarities to Mass Effect, it just kind of piss me off how that was released when it's single player was basically at a beta's quality, with major need of refinement. Also I do not feel like playing another bullet sponge multiplayer

After the first reveal, I was very much in with the "just another Destiny" crowd. The more I see and hear about it, however, the more I'm excited by it. It's good to see you seem to feel the same way as I do now. Looking forward to more info on the game, and more vids by you about it!

I hope they give it enough time to fully bake it. Multiplayer games always have tough launches. That said, it sounds like a single-player RPG with multiplayer world sections. It looks gorgeous. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I’d prefer more Mass Effect. Not excited at all about another loot based MMO. Destiny was already enough of a letdown.

Looks good, I just wished Sony was behind Bioware and not EA.

I wasn’t sure before, but now I’m genuinely excited to see what this game is gonna be all about! I just hope there is a single player option...

The gameplay is so slow paced. I wonder if I will ever be able to have fun in these types of games ever again after playing Warframe.

Graphics wise I am blown away, there is no denying that it looks great so far. However, I am concerned by the fact that they pretty much showed us close to the same as last year-flashy combat, and multiplayer. I would have been more impressed by seeing part of a quest, or maybe something more story or single player driven. I haven’t lost hope that it will be good, but I am going to need to see a bit more story or single player aspects before I get too excited.

Huge open world, amazing graphics, super huge mechs, combat oriented game, flying around with magic, side mission events (similar to destiny), these are not things I'm looking forward to a game. I like my games linear (with side missions if you really want to explore further) so you get a butt load amount of content after content, pretty much like every bioware games before Dragon Age Inquisition.

This reminds me of the new star wars battlefield games pretty, but no real depth.

I was a big Bioware fan for a long time, from the beginning, really. But as often as I even now still replay KotOR, the first two Dragon Ages and the ME trilogy, and even still play Old Republic with a fully paid subscription since day one, I can't seem to even get all the way through Inquisition or Andromeda, although I admit I wouldn't have stopped playing Andromeda if Bioware hadn't quit on it to leave it hanging with so many unfinished threads. It's like all they go for now is the flash of a pretty game instead of focusing on the storylines and characters that used to make every one of their games winners. So as intriguing as this game might look, I no longer have any confidence in Bioware giving us a good game. A pretty game yes, but good, no. I won't even consider preordering this like I did with every single one of their games before now but might pick it up off the bargain shelf after it's been out for a while. And oh, yeah... bring back single player games, Bioware, and forget about this multiplayer crap!

So, we got a lone city of human survivors that is protected by a wall. We have armored guardians who protect the city from some mysterious and powerful force that almost wiped out humanity. It's an online only game that features matchmaking co-op and good ol' loot. Also, there's a semi-annoying ai that likes to talk a lot. Sounds like Destiny 3.0 to me. Also looks very much like they simply took Andromeda's engine and mechanics and threw it with Destiny's main setting/plot. I'll probably pick this up once it hits the $20 mark a couple months after release. It's got some pretty sweet graphics. though.

Those strider things really wreck-up the topsoil... It takes like 500 years for an inch of topsoil to develop, jeeze, giant robot. Have a care.

So, Tucker.......when Anthem releases, are you going to get back to uploading videos? Theories, breakdowns, news, lore explanations, etc?

I will let everyone else buy it out and then play if it gets good reviews. I've been burned too many times by too many different developers (Mass Effect Andromeda and Destiny being the main culprits).

Finally I was hoping you were gonna do a breakdown. I was just watching the new gameplay doing my own personal breakdown analysis and I wanna see what you saw that I didn't.

Sorry I'm not sold. The game is technically a good looking game. But the art direction is just bland and generic. The story and characters seem none existent. And the combat makes look like just another shooter. I think I'll pass. I've been playing Bioware games since the Baulder's Gate days. Bioware was my fav western studio. But between DAI, MEA, and now this I feel Bioware is a shell of it's former self.

After the way that left us hanging with Mass Effect one of my all time favorite games I won't buy this game I don't trust them. I don't want this game.

Not. Even. Interested. This game still pisses me off. You guys sold out the minute you changed your name from Mass Effect Follower to Bioware Follower proving that you approve of them purposely kill Mass Effect so they could make this game. Tucker I used to love this Channel I think I was one of your first subscribers. It was all things Mass Effect games that I loved, and you you standing up for Mass Effect when every one was trashing it, but then the team that made the game got shut down, and this bullshit was announced, and you were ACTUALY excited about it. Every other Mass Effect fan hated this game was the reason Andromeda did so bad, and then you changed your channel name to the Follower of the company that purposely sabotaged Andromeda for this game. I don’t know why I’m still subbed to this channel maybe to see if you change, even though it’s unlikely a man can hope. Tucker you disappoint me, by supporting this game, and Bioware you are telling the big guys in Bioware that it’s ok to kill there franchises that made them big and just make money. I subbed for all things Mass Effect now all I am is disappointed that you became a suck-up for Bioware I am greatly disappointed Tucker 😭.
