We personally own one too for our acreage we maintain at home. Love the size and larger tires over a SubCompact but still small enough to get into places a full compact is limited. One of my favorite models.

Skid Steer Quick Attach is not a Factory Option on the 1526. But there are 3rd Party Vendors that make adapters to convert small frame loaders to skid steer.

Start at lower Engine RPMs then increase RPMs to PTO Speed. The Brake is not a clutch it's brake only.

Soft Start is not an add on feature. There is not adjustment to PTO. Start at lower RPM (Enough to start implement) then raise the Engine RPM to PTO Speed.

There is Throttle Cable that goes from Throttle Lever/Handle to the Injection Pump that controls fuel flow and engine speed. I would look at Cable and linkage to the Throttle Lever and Attachment to Engine. It's mechanical auto throttle so it can be in that area too.

The 1526H does not have a Backhoe Option. If you need a 25hp with Backhoe the GC172MB or 1726E are the models with Backhoe Compatibility.

@@VahrenbergImplement You can use a Woods BH65 groundbreaker backhoe. Very robust.

Why would you want to? We personally own this model and AutoThrottle one of the greatest features and why we selected it for our tractor for our acreage.

Backhoe is not available on the 1526. Only GC1720 or the 1726E are backhoe compatible in the 25HP Engine Class.

I have a 1526, I wish a backhoe was an option. Maybe one day it will be available?? I hope so!

Unfortunately the 1526 is not available with backhoe. I have checked & asked and that model is very unique size and not currently adaptive for backhoe. It's in-between the GC Series and Full Compact 1700E Series and cost is prohibitive for adapting a backhoe. We personally own a 1526 ourselves and love the size of the tractor but there are limits to what can be done for it.

Thank you for the reply. When I purchased the tractor I wasn’t really interested in a backhoe but over time realized one would be pretty handy. I’ve considered trading in the 1526 for a GC1720 with the tlb but I really like the size of my 1526 and I really like the tractor itself. Mine is a 2013, so I have the older style L90 loader. It’s been a great tractor so far. Being a dealer maybe you could inform corporate that’s there is an interest for a backhoe option on the 1526. I think it’ll be worth it. Thanks!

1526 is only available as a Hydrostat Transmission model just like featured in this video.

Massey Ferguson 1526 is 100% Iseki. Engine, Transmission, Hydraulics just like the GC Series but the 1526 is larger chassis and tires. There is nothing Mitsubishi with this tractor Massey Ferguson only uses Mitsubishi Engines in the 1700 Premium Series Tractors.
