This movie makes me happy. That quick montage of the model numbers on the hoods honestly made me a little emotional.

Old MHF tractors are still good machines. My family uses a '59 202 and a '64 180 as our haying tractors.

This is a great video, but knowing what with the company happend in the following years makes me sad.

We had a MF 760 just like in the video. Bought it brand new. Unfortunately it was our last Massey combine after 30+ years because it was POS. Too bad because it had great capacity when it was running.

About 15 years ago we needed a hydraulic fitting for the pto system on a 3000 series tractor- MF did not have one in stock ANYWHERE in Europe and was priced at £40 - the fitting was non standard and un available at the usual hydraulic supplier however with a few phone calls I sourced a replacement which was posted me next day for £5 including delivery, the MF dealer called 6 WEEKS later to say the fitting had come into stock , How incompetent of MF not to have say 10 of those fittings in stock in each european parts hub bearing in mind the obvious profit margin involved , even though the fitting was so expensive as an MF part number it would probably have been purchased as a quick fix for a busy tractor I could give other examples of bad MF management and no doubt other manufacturers have their faults too but it does,nt surprise me they have been left way behind the likes of JD and NH in the last 30 years.
