Massey Ferguson tractors made at the Coventary Plant UK 🇬🇧 are the most popular and reliable tractors around the world. I own an Ex-NZ MF165 2wd A4.248 engine tractor working on our sugarcane farms since 2013.

The 90's Massey Ferguson's 300 ,3000, 3100, 3600 series are great tractors . I have a 3000 series 3070. I grew up with using the 100 and 200 series Massey Ferguson's . The Perkins Diesel engine is very reliable and has a lot of low end torque. My favorite Massey Ferguson tractors are the 35. 65 ,97-8, 135 , 165, 180 , 1130, 265, 285, 383, 3070, 3095, 3125, 3690. ,

i love massey ferguson.. currently having mf 185 mf 285 and now otw to buy mf 399.. the classic series is more beautiful than new model

I have owned lots of tractors . Fords , new Holland’s , John Deere’s and kubota. But, from my experience , the 300 series Massey is the best bullet proof easy to drive fuel efficient tractor ever built of tractors with non cabs.

I grew up on a dairy and beef farm in southern Ireland.over the years we had mf 35,mf 65,mf 165.188.590 690. All fantastic tractors.what happened to banner lane .what went wrong.

The 365 4wd was a poor performer, bought iit against the 390 as wanted a good slope/bank working here in Wales. Adding dual wheels to the rear and 4wd engauged there was very little power left even to climb back up a bank,let alone have any light pto implement. However like most Uk built MF tractors it was really well balanced . Fuel tank up front good but vibration use to break the fuel line,untill I affected my own mod.The stuttle lever ex factory would rid a finger and nail badly ,as yhe action between the steering wheel and the plastic knob,as you partly swung around in the seat to reverse ( topping or similar). small cab but ir was a small tractor . It was otherwise a safe tractor but lacked the grunt of say DB 1394 whish was too heavy for that type of work. The Rep at the time tried to get me into the 390 instead of 365 ,but I thought I knew better . 390t was the tool with the correct rear wheels and tyres complete with low profile cab.

These 300 series were imho the last of the best made in the UK. 4200 series, not so good.

Sorry but I’ll take a MF 35 and 8S.305 over a 300 anyday.
