This is a great conception!!! More traction and floatation, but a little but!!! Use a "U joint" on it's linkeage for better turn control and differential pivoting. Love it.!!! It's a real easy add on improvement.

I agree that the back of the plough wasn't as deep as the front - the top link needed to be screwed out. Trouble is, in lift postion the rear of the plough wasn't lifting high enough for that. Presumably the linkage wasn't designed to take that much weight? A couple of assister rams would help - that's what I did with my tandem Nuffield 10-60s.

Soy agricultor poseo un Forson Major en buen estado ,esta modalidad para el 35 parese muy buena en rendimiento al aumentar la adherencia al suelo por el mismo surco o trocha de trabajo de este modo considero resistencia y proteccion en ambas trasmiciones pero sufrimiento al motor. Me gustaria en ese caso usar 4 ruedas 10×28 y solo 3 rejas en el arado ,me gusta mucho el tema de los tractores

Pro: it does provide about 30 to 40 % more traction, (with loss due to moving parts drag. i.e.: gears, pto, friction, etc) but it's also compacting the ground more by inclined tires rather than side by side duals...

It looks like the front plow is digging deeper than the back plow. Needs some tuning of the plow set-up. Good idea though. Thanks for the video.

What about the way the front drive wheel came off the ground as he turned in ! No provision made for articulation. I would imagine all sorts of cracks and potential breakage after serious use.

Not a lot of spare power in there. I've spent some time in a 35 seat and they aren't big horses. But, that rig sure made for good traction.

Plow set would never work in our ground No Coulter’s to cut the sod ! No weed hooks to lay the riye down in the furrow 1 As other people have said plows are not adjusted right We used a Ford 9n from 1939 to 1953 with dual tire on land side for plowing tires loaded with calcium solution Put duals on both sides for fitting

Looks really cool and as the owner of a 35X I love the project. However I can’t help agreeing with the comments about diluting the power. Unless you need to add traction for difficult terrain there is no real advantage with a longer drive train. Am I missing something?

*That MF35 doesn't have enaugh Power to pull 4 Furrow Plows, the mod that you did gives it good traction but doesn't give it more power in fact with more moving parts you actually loose power to parasitic loads like driving extra cogs for the back end of the tractor, Also the PTO is a parasitic Load!!!*

This setup seems totally wrong to me.. You place 4 furrow behind it but have the same hp that is for 2 furrow but you add another rear end to it that is making it work even harder? Seems like its backwards

Dad had two John Deere 730 diesels coupled together with an elaborate hinge between them so that it would articulate like the 4X4 of today. Pulled 6 bottom plow. You drove from the seat of the rear tractor. also controls on rear.

@@AutodidactEngineer i mean most of my country uses those tractors so if they really that bad how u sayin im pissed but yeah u kinda right and john deere 3140 could plow a midrange field in 30 mins while our imt 542 would need a whole day from morning till it goes a lil bit dark, but also the john deere tractor is a bit expensive for our people since most of the people live close to the poverty line meanwhile you could buy an imt 533 for 1000-2000 Euros and overall it gets the job done

FapKing69 IMT was a nice brand until the 90’s when capitalism ran it over. Yugoslavs were happy with it - durable, good, Yugoslav-made, cheap parts etc.

*The knock off IMT533 is notorious for having an awful IMT 3 cylinder engine that performs poorly and it's prone to stuttering!* *These tractors were designed to run on a 4 cylinder continental engine with at least 45.5HP and the IMT533 is underpowered with only 32(plus the issues I mentioned above)* _-Peace_

@@AutodidactEngineer It wasn't that good or reliable. But it was affordable in the Balkan region, so every village had atleast one of 533/539 imt's. Overall it wasn't that good of a tractor. With some time tractors like imt 577 (4 cyl, 77hp) and torpedo td9006(6 cyl, 90hp with deutz licence) became "balkan workhorses"

The three cylinder on the 35 is one of the best engines ever built, but that combo will get you bust on heavy or hard ground

Put a 4 furrow on a 35 without that extra axel... I doubt it would pull it. The traction helped the engine... when there is a pull on its.eg.ploughing
