Start Sterling on the left. He is rested and needs to intelligently keep Walker occupied in our attacking third. Start Palmer on the right as he needs mobility space. Use Madeuke up the middle. Rest Fernández until later. Decide if Gilchrist or Cesadei have a starting role in midfield. Big game, big players, if fully fit Chilwell is in starting 11 until fatigue or poor performances crop up. Hard choice on CB's as Foden, Alvarez, Grelish, De Bruyne, Rodri, Doku, Haaland will keep the midfield and entire defence occupied. Tracking, defending set plays and corners are crucial. Staying calm, no silly cards is vital. Remain compact. Press from the middle third. Maximize shooting and scoring opportunities as Palmer will be restricted. So others will have to provide offensive opportunities.

Against the tired legs of city I think Gallagher is an absolute must pressing high
