I grew up in Buffalo, and I always loved getting peameal bacon from Ft. Erie Ontario. Peameal bacon is pork loin cured in salt and sugar, then coated in yellow corn meal, for those you don't know. To cure it yourself take a lean trimmed pork loin, coat it in salt and sugar and put it in a plastic container, then in the refrigerator. Turn it once a day for 3 days. Wash off the loin, dry with a clean kitchen towel. Then coat with yellow corn meal, either fine or coarse grind, or corn polenta (cayenne pepper optional highly recommended). Slice thin before cooking(2mm). To cook, use low heat, in a frying pan with a little butter, for a few minutes a side. Eat just like bacon, or put on sandwiches. Your family will fight over it.

I eat fried fish the same way! Half tartar sauce and half ketchup! Except I mix them together to make a single sauce. Crazy coincidence! I dunno what it is but I enjoy watching you eat food haha. Very passionate about it. Anyways keep it up !

Joel you’re competitive eating techniques are always fun to observe! You eat very neatly and make it more interesting describing the food in detail. You always remark on how well prepared the food is, what you use to moisturize every bite , the rotation of liquids to to prevent food fatigue! You make the videos informative and interesting to watch! Thank you for making it fun to watch each time. However, I’m always amazed how well you consume the food cleanly and quickly! TY for always educating us all on the flavor balances to assure you don’t get tired of the taste or adding more sauces to help you with the flavors and prevent eating fatigue! @Brandon Epps yesterday was the first day without any deaths due to covid-19 and today there was 9 deaths, that's a big drop now so we are on our 2nd stage of coming out of lockdown, the weather has been amazing here, sun shining and 20°C earlier today, going to be hotter over the next few days.

One thing that keeps me watching these vids is how you are not 500 lbs. How you maintain an awesome physique after eating enough food to feed a family for a week. Perhaps a follow up video showing how you workout to utilize all those calories.

Here from burlington so happy to see this! My boyfriend and I met here first time. Great fish and chips and the owner is absolutely hilarious My boyfriend once went in for a soup on a cold day and the owner wasn't impressed with his soup of day. Well my bf ate 2 bowl and was boasting but the owner still stuck his nose up and wouldn't let him pay the meal and said he was lying! Haha great food, best service. So happy to see them on youtube
