Today my daughter came thrifting with me and as we arrived they had just finished restocking the shelves at my favorite Goodwill at Rainbow and Cheyenne here in Las Vegas! I have my Thrifting Vegas blanket and my reuseable shopping bags ready. Today, Miley and I found so many amazing treasures, the most fragile thing I have ever thrifted, and between us, almost a flock of sheep! Thrift with us for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. I’m stunned the Capodimonte piece was in such amazing condition. If that piece was handled at my local GW? It would have been chipped to kingdom come. 😬 Kudos to the GW employees who handle the items and stock the shelves out there! 💕

I am waiting to hear if she finds out and verifies that it’s an authentic old one or a reproduction. At one point I know they were reproducing a lot of stuff and they would even reproduce the marks, but I’m not an expert and without touching it and holding it I can’t really tell anyway

The placemats were funny they are Ziggy and Bandit. I love the copper enamel lid. Even though I'm not big on figurines the Dresden piece is quite spectacular and what a great find.

I loved seeing all of your treasures. I just thought I would mention an FYI.....I am an artist and one thing I learned early when packing and traveling with art is always place them front to front and back to back. This prevents the wire hangers or hanging devices from scratching either the other frame, or the glass, or in the case of an original painting....the painting itself.

I'm so jealous. We have nothing in our teeny tiny Goodwill. I collect sheep and figurines with sheep and would have been all over that family, and especially the little shepherd with the two lambs right after you found the sheep family. Loved them

SO AMAZED the Dresden pieces essentially the lace is not more damaged. They are so delicate. I have a few ballerinas and ladies such a wonder find.

Tiffany, thank you for all the tips and bolos you always give! I just picked up a beautiful rooster paper towel holder this evening, and was happy to hear you say to pick up any that you find of good quality. That was a really nice conch shell you picked up. The hole is how some harvesters remove the conch from the shell. I learned that on a trip to Antigua. I still have my conch shell from that trip and it has an oval hole in that same spot. I purchased another conch shell at a garage sale last summer for $2 and sold it for $20, but I decided to hang onto the one from my trip as a memento. I love your videos! Your kids are sweet like their mum and your kitties are adorable! 💕☺️

To get the plate hangers off safely I would hold one side and have someone else hold the other and then each person gently pull the hanger away from the plate. That way there’s no pressure put on just one side which is what causes the damage. Your daughter is so pretty and sweet too!

I see so many different letter pieces. You need to buy some and see how long it takes you to get the whole alphabet. Good job for the kids to help with! I love the stained glass hot air balloon! Also I am happy we are not the only ones who let our cats onto the table. My mother in law would get so mad my husband and I would let the cat on the table. It was a table we barely ate at even!!

The Saxe altburg (?) Bowl is a RS Prussia mold and the decal is a RS Prussia decal (decoration). The colors are also those used by RS Prussia. I have collected Prussia for 30 years.

The shell was a Conch shell and the hole is how they get the conch out of the shell.
