OMG yes! I've been checking your channel for the last week and rewatching videos while waiting for a new one 💚 A 50 min one will do just fine

Starting to think why even bother with many you tube videos that talk about how many hoyas they have killed. I have lost 2 hoyas when I first started. I only try to buy the ones that I feel passionate about. Have problems with propagating. Everything I plant roots and grows like crazy. Don’t have space for so many, so I gift them to special people that take care of them. Where does it end. I love watching you, Basie. You have a massive collection of the most beautiful hoyas but you have it down to a science. Not just for having hundreds. I follow very few serious collectors. I wish it was truly for the love of caring and keeping such beauties. Thanks for explaining the reasons for your ways. Love your humor and that you hold back from paying hundreds for plants that many people buy just to say I have that one.Love

I know...I know, this video is two years old. But while watching it, I was potting up one of my favorites, Hoya Callistophylla (such gorgeous leaves. And this week, I was able to get one of my wishlist plants, Hoya Heuschkeliana variegata. I pot her up my little rooted cutting of her next. 🤩

So glad you're back Miro! I was doing the same as the others, watching old videos and checking for new ones 💗. Was starting to get worried about you too. I'm sure you probably know this but you can soak dehydrated Hoya cuttings in a weak sugar and warm water solution for a few hours until they plump up again. Just chuck the whole thing in, leaves and all. I've had results in as little as 30 minutes but you can leave them in for up to 24 hours if needed. I brought a Hoya pubicalyx unknown back from the brink this way 😍

I just bought a rintzii borneo cutting. I cant wait for more leaves!

I should have listen to you about the wayettii, because I got one a couple days ago and now it’s dropping leaves, has root rot and doesn’t look like it’s going to make it. The seller will refund me, but I didn’t expect it to be so finicky. Good luck with your kentiana. Maybe I’ll try that one next.

hoya heuschkeliana variegata is on my hoya wishlist =) I also have hoya kentiana variegata and is one of current favorites. I only started collecting hoyas this past February and I I cant wait to add more hoyas to my plant collection.

The finlaysonii nova from your friend is nova I familiar with .. but finlaysonii complex is confusion & large .. i cant stop collecting them .. the sigilatis you show look really similar to sigilar alas river .. cute plant my favorite from the list is microstemma .. i look up for the flower .. it very pretty .. 😍

Loved Xfiles. My older brother showed it to me when I was 11. It scared the 💩 out of me 🤣 still watched it though! I'm nearly 40!!!! It's quite awesome how easy most Hoyas are to root. I mean I have had a few struggles... linearis was giving me a hard time, seems ok now 🤞❤
