The SS United States is still around folks. The fastest ocean liner in the world, possibly still even today. She was so technologically advanced in theory it was possible for her to stay afloat if all of her five lower deck compartments were flooded. She interiors were pretty much fire resistant or would not spread fire. Currently she’s berthed in Philly rn. Unfortunately she’s not in a good shape.

I think you should be able to use the med-packs, but only one...meaning you can only use one bar of it then wither drop it or keep it.

I think I know why. This ship is based off of SS Untied States or SS America. So he said Untied States because even though the name is different, it's the exact same hull and funnel design other than the paint

Hey Comodo there is this game called Teardown and it is a pretty good game Here is a check list of some things it has Fire physics,check Great destruction physics,check Cars,check Boats,check Sandboxmode,check (btw you can destroy almost everything ) Good graphics,check Hope you read this coment and hve a good day

The bow thrusters are there to help a large ship such as that turn faster. They are positioned on the bow and the propellers push the bow of the ship in the desired direction. They are also used to counter wind and tide in close quarters. Pretty cool that the creator added them.

For the med pack question I think you could use it 1 time, that way you have to pick and choose the right time to use it just to add a little bit more of a challenge.

The term "batten down the hatches" comes from the medieval ages when most ships were made of wood. Crew members would take a waterproof canvas-like fabric called a "Tarpaulin" and cover the hatches during a storm. This was necessary because the hatch doors were basically metal grates with a couple of hinges attaching them to the deck.

We still use tarpaulin, but it is just reffered to as a Tarp in most places. Very common in industry and camping.

Bow thrusters are for making hair pin turns or docking not how your using it which would probably break the bow thrusters

7:25 correction. That is not a list but a heel. You can tell it is a heel dur to the external forces acting on the ship. Both the wind and waves are causing the ship to heel to port. A list is due to internal forces such as uneven cargo or the free surface effect from fuel or improper ballast.

The reason the sound is not working is the new headsets to send audio. I saw the helm has a headset and it muffles the sound. Also, I guess that now it's safe to say Sinking Tuesdays are officially back. I said this last week, but I'm a channel vet and I am glad that it's back.

If at all possible, it would be neat to see a rescue of NPCs from a completely sunk ship like that. They might die instantly from the pressure though.

Could be interesting, but I don't see SE having the right mechanics comparitively. Then again watching him panic on a ship falling towards a planet could be fun for a few laughs. I think if he got Spy, Frantic and OB in and tried surviving on a ship being attacked while playing it out like they are the ships crew could be fun.
