On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Today, a pilot in his trusty F15 voluntarily launched to engage an overwhelming number of adversaries. After having fired all his missiles, in a precarious position, he stayed in the fight. He decided to try and ultimately down one more fighter bomber with guns. After having spent everything he had, unfortunately, his aircraft was struck with a missile and he lost his life. In a moment of true heroism, he fought with great bravery, and we thank him for his noble sacrifice.

This new capability is brilliant. We're finally seeing something closer to the complexity of combat along with the effects of fog and friction of war. No more sterile one-on-ones. These are amazing.

Chinese invasion of Taiwan, B-2 bombers have to dump long range missiles on the Chinese fleet. Might be more interesting to play as the Chinese side on that one actually, especially because of the inferior planes.

The addition of multi Threading for me is the biggest thing to hit DCS ever, and ive been playing since it was LOMAC. The first thing i noticed was that even at 4k and max eye candy, my 4090 was doing very little work due to the CPU (5800X3D) bottleneck. This can only get better and with Vulcan we should see even greater performance improvements.

I’ve seen a few comments along the lines of: “should have taken an F-22”. I think not! Remind me, how many missiles did his F-15 carry? Well, he managed to fire all of them and his kill ratio was pretty high. What was his final score? 6:1? I honestly lost count in all the excitement. I very much doubt a Raptor would have fared better. Now imagine if he had had an F-15EX, fully loaded. Stealth planes definitely have their uses, but there are also times like this when your most valuable asset is a big, fast, fully modernised missile truck. And having both options available to mix and match as the situation dictates…now that’s what I call a force multiplier.

Even if the F-15 dies, it dies like a badass. The fact that you got hit, but your aircraft kept flying for 10 or so seconds in a straight line, proves it didn't even feel the pain.

I want to see like a post battle analysis on that. What was the order of battle of the two sides engaged. How many weapons wer employed by the two sides. What were the losses each side sustained. Stuff like that. That was extreme.

Great video mate. I’ve a question about radar jamming though. So the enemy was actively jamming your f-15s radar but because of its power you still saw your bandit. My question is, once you launch an anraam and you go cold, would the enemies jamming not also jam the weaker radar of the anraam?
