This is amazing!!!!! How did I miss this tank and this video?! I've wanted a motorised lego tank for so long, I've been thinking of building my own, but I have no pieces nor the knowledge to build something like this! Now I want to buy this and motorise it the same way you did! :D It's awesome, and when I get the chance I can maybe build this thing into a custom tank I of my dreams! :D Thank you so much for this video, now I just need to be a bit patient, maybe there will be a sale of this for a better price, but on the site you linked it's already quite a good deal! :D

Very cool functional model. Really good wheel/tread design considering how big, and probably heavy the overall model is. After market motorization without heaving to tear it down also adds to the overall design/playability.

Looks like a technic Tank. Would have been better if pins were not so visible. Also has any one noticed Cobi seem to be slipping up lately on there tanks and build quality. Just built the new Panzer 3, amount of issues with it was shocking. First the hull machine gun is so big it half length of barrel, side skirts so flimsy they fall off with the spare wheels, Engine deck looks weird, and why change what worked before, Tracks on mine would keep unclipping (not had that since my jg pz e100 years ago). Noticed that Cobi seem to be chucking more and more tanks out and there accuracy and quality starting to slip. Brickmeet you could a video on it as they have even more tanks coming out.

love it... the motors just out go the actual tank... in real life, that tank couldn't get over that coin purse even in the actual size.

For full realism change the running motors from L to M to simulate how underpowerd the original was.

Atswell as how it sucks that they are using blue pins instead of a darker/more inconspicuous color the Ferdinand looks sorta....shorter than what it should be? It could just be me idk.

Appreciate you need to accommodate all the motors, etc but not convinced the proportions are very “Ferdinand” like…looks a bit short and wide to me…but if you like r/c you’d probably live with that, but if you want a static display piece, Cobi’s looks way better…IMHO. 😉

If your going to make a kit of a WW2 tank the male the colour look right and dont, just dont, have the parts holding it together visible after its finished if they are bright blue 😳☹️
