You think I can get by with the Ridgid 8inch wet tile saw for the same size tile? I have to do envelope cuts as well (2’x4’) just don’t wanna buy something too big that I won’t use for a long time.

we soak the wedges in sulfamic acid from Home Depot. Cleans them overnight

4ft by 8ft porcelain sheets are super popular in northern ca bay area. Took 5 guys all day to install 6 sheets.

Prep is that much more important. It takes us 4-5 hours post prep.

It was a beautiful extremely custom look but the cost material and labor. It was when I worked for BAC UNION u had to be a certified journeyman so minimum hourly rate for each guy was $38 an hour lead guy $42-48 an hour. We had to skin coat and notch entire piece and the wall then vibrate air pockets out. Down rite obnoxious but very rewarding
