Full walkthrough please! after building a very beginner dash for mobile devices using mostly mushroom cards the wife asked this weekend "could we have something on the wall like this but gives me one big screen with access to all the stuff on one screen" so i've got a free pass to go down this rabbithole!

Love the way you add fonts to this, I had tried this once before and it did not work well - also didn't realize that you could put the cards on a home assistant dashboard like that! Pretty cool! I am going to give it a try for sure!

Please make complete walkthru video of tablet! :D And, what % do you have "initial scale" at in "web zoom and scalin" in the settings on fully kiosk? :)

LOL, I am working on it! 😀 - For the Google Chrome tablet in the video I have it set to 100% no zoom, the screen is really nice and readable that way - some of the android tablets I zoom a little, but continue to play with them - I will share those settings when I complete testing and share that project in another video. - Thanks for watching!

Great guide, I saw for a moment in this video that you have the Expanasiva font there, can you share how to add it to HA.

I was also testing with fonts on the local computer which works as long as its on the local device - but the way I describe in the video allows it to be used on any computer - I also believe there is a way to put the font on your home assistant server and load it via url from there - but I need to play with that option.

Love your videos!! Is there any equal or similar options for an old Apple iPad?

Thank you! You can install the home assistant companion app on an iPad, and you can still use browser-mod to control the browser itself as a device - but I don't believe there is anyway to tap into/use the sensors on an iPad to control walkup etc. - This is one of the reasons android devices are so popular - I have been using this one - geni.us/FkOiA and at $80 it works great if all you want is a home assistant dashboard - they are iffy if you want to use them for other purposes! - thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing your expert HA Knowledge, I copied button code from your website and tried it, customized it for my size and font selection. It shows the time in my custom font on PC, chrome browser but doesn't shows up same custom font on HA via Android App. Is it limited to chrome or compatible browser? Thanks again for your efforts to share this with HA lovers ❤❤

Hello - it should work on any browser if you are importing it from Google - You can try to do a refresh on the browser - it sometimes needs to load the font before the dashboard if you just added it? - hope that helps - and thanks for watching!

Following this tutorial, I got so many errors. Custom Button card doesn't exist, Mushroom template card doesn't exist, weather, etc. I just installed Home Assistant for the first time and came to this tutorial trying to add a font, and it seems the way he does his tutorials, I need to watch all his videos for them to work. As an expert KZfaqr, I'd recommend doing tutorials in a way that references everything you need to do the tutorial without trying to search through your old videos.

Its always hard to know how much to repeat, and how often just to refer to another video - I actually had to go back and watch it again myself to see what you meant. I think I could have done a better job of referring you to the video that would have helped, or at least pointing out the prerequisites better - thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
