Mast Raising System & Boat Rigging

3 жыл бұрынMy little Potter 19 goes out for it's first time of the season, so a little more rigging than usual. I'm pretty happy with my A-Frame & Pulley system, but I've got about 10 tweaks in my head to improve it. Sailboats are awesome for tinkerers! Would love to hear your ideas for improvements if you have any.

a pair of wooden x shape with one joint in the middle folds and works super well for holding up the mast for longer than thank your shoulder

Thanks Milo, that would work well and I like the idea of something that folds; space is always at a premium on a small boat.

What, if anything, is preventing the mast from going side to side?

it doesn't wobble too much when it's over 45 degrees up, and I usually control by hand at the lower angles.
