He is a great fisherman of catfish. But he is also clever, entertaining and smart when it comes to video making. This "Master Baiter" video is just one more example of his many talents.

One of the many characteristics that make Dave an entertainment genius Is how he can say something jaw dropping hilarious and know it, and not even hint at cracking up 😂😂😂

Dave I just want to thank you for the skipjack thursday. I met You in Tennessee in Chattanooga on the river. You said we were fishing your hole. LOL. We never got the big boy(got soaked by rain) we missed a couple that were really really good fish don't know what size but really good we got several in the 30 lb range and one in the 40 lb range it was a weird bite three nights straight. I watch your videos for a while now but after I met you in person you seem like the kind of guy I would like to hang out with totally different than what I thought you were thanks for the bait man and good luck P.S. They seemed to preffer live bream all 3 nights, flats and blues.(caught 3 flats)

There's a lot of lure manufacturers, tsunami, strike King, savage gear, many more that sell popper lures for striper fishing. They resemble a feeding skipjack alot more than that chartreuse thingy. About the same price as that popper. Take the trebbles off tie a leader on. Send it.

I don't know anything about skipjack other than they're really similar to hickory shad. But from what I'm seeing on these catfish vids from the Tennessee river system, there might not be any left in 20yrs the way everyone keeps them all. At least throw a 10 fish limit on em.
