Love your bed. Currently sleeping on a similar platform bed but the headboard is taller. When I purchased my 1st home and bought a king size bed my aunt told me that single women shouldn’t buy king size beds w/out husbands 👀 I told her it’s not 1950 and I didn’t sleep on anything but king!

I had to watch this again. It was so enjoyable to watch you put ur bed together. I loved my king when I had one. But living in NY with such a large population housing are so small unless ur living in Long Island. I would love to have one now and my coop now big enough to enjoy a king size bed. I’ve only just bought a new bed with arm rest and Bluetooth speakers. Love it! So it’s not an option. I love to put thing together. Ur bed is awesome!

A tall headboard was my preference as well because my bedroom has a pitched ceiling. I opted for an upholstered king sized bed as well and needed one taller than my 5’9” height. But it took me about 3 months to find and decide on it. And I ultimately got it from Wayfair.

I just bought this bed from Ashley yesterday and I’m very excited for it to arrive! I haven’t seen one like it. I came to see how others decorate their rooms around it but I can’t find much. I bought the Rawcliffe sectional too from there. You have to look into it. It’s the most comfortable and plush for it’s price. Congratulations on your purchase though it looks amazing to see it in a room ❤️

Wow!, love the bed….if I were still in the market for a new one - this would be it, but I ordered one in August from Wayfair and love it!….future tip, unbox everything and carry them independently, that’s what I did with my bed and nightstands (and I couldn’t even carry those heavy nightstands - girl, I flipped those bad boys all the way up the stairs 😂💡)….but had to get my handyman and his helper to carry the dresser up 😉)….I’m like you - purchased my three-level townhouse in 2019, so I’m still decorating and doing DIYs and as much work on my own before calling my handyman 😁….anyway, made a great purchase and by the looks of it, at a great time.

I too legit went to Ashley furniture store several times to visit some dining room chairs that spoke to me... i get it. Proud of you for your progress. Over the headboard idea: you can diy a large feather "juju hat" art piece in a cream color. I have a strong feeling your room is going to be auch a vibe!

Its a nice bed. I like it because its minimal with texture.l replaced my high bed with storage recently because its not my style anymore. I purchased a sleek minimal design metal bed . I love white bedding also so that's what l went with too.

I feel you on that struggle with the bed placement. I too have a larger room, but with the entry door, closet doors, and windows being where they are...There aren’t as many spots for the bed as I thought when I bought the place. Oh well. Great video.

Happy Sunday. We have a bed 🥳🥳. I see a console table with a mirror 🧐. I am expensively cheap and I would of paid them to put that bed together because I feel the heaviness through this video. 🥺🥺😩😩. Furnishing a 🏠 takes TIME. I took us a year to find the right bed and six months (C-19) to get it delivered but we love our 🛏 and I told hubby this is our forever 🛏

I'm in South Africa and I just got a similar bed. I'm so excited, i can't wait to get a mattress for it and finally sleep like the queen that i am, lol. I relate so much with your experience in this video because I was also not looking for a bed for my main bedroom but when I saw this specific bed and the price (it was also on sale), I had to get it! I also share the same sentiments with preferring a shorter headboard, not tufted, it's more classic and elegant and not at risk of going out of style. My plan now is to get the same pillows that match the bed. :) :)

Love love love the bed! I want the grand floor to ceiling headboard but settled on a tufted one. Now I want something different. Thank goodness i didn’t spend too much!
