Took it today. Quant may be 5% difficult (lengthy), DI is just the combination of IR and DS and IR feels relatively easier (~10%). Verbal felt a little bit (~5%) lengthier on CR

Do you think someone who is stronger with IR but weak in verbal in the old GMAT would benefit now, since scores now include Data insights equally and verbal score percentage has dropped. Thanks

@@viking18888 Yes, being stronger on the IR questions is a significant advantage for Focus Edition! SC used to be 20% of the total score, and now the IR question types account for about 24% of the total score.

@@viking18888 People who are stronger in IR than in Verbal have been finding that they are more comfortable with the Focus Edition, though there are CR and RC aspects to many Data Insights questions. That said, since many test-takers are more comfortable with DI than with Verbal, you may not get as much of an advantage by taking the Focus Edition as you might expect since many of your peers will also be getting similar results.

Is GMAT Focus question adaptive? Because if it is, then why would anyone skip/flag questions to review later? The questions that will follow the previously skipped question will be of easier difficulty and will lower your score, right?

GMAT Focus exam is question adaptive. You can flag questions for later review but you still need to submit an answer to move towards next question; You can not skip any question.
