this is a review of the master grade gundam model kit, GM version 2.0. The GM is the standard grunt suit for the federation in the series mobile suit gundam.

Nice review. I really like the rack mount for the bazooka on the GM ver. 1. Looks like its gone on the presumably animation design accurate ver. 2.0

I'm wondering; how's the solidity during posing? Is it good for stop motion? I'd be posing this thing over and over again, so I don't want parts breaking off constantly.

JiggyStash MG usually has no problem during posing, and most of the time MG is more stiff than loose.

Hey Mr. Jabman, I was wondering if your MG GM had the same problem I had with the feet joints regarding its piston parts. For my Kit, I had decided to paint the pistons using a silver paint to give it a more mechanical feel. And when I fitted the joints in, it was to tight to move. Therefeore I had to sand of the paints and try again, it was still too thick to move and I tried to make the ball joints tighter so that it could withstand the pull of the pistons and it still failed. Finally, I decided to lubricate the pistons and that finally worked. I am just curious to know if yours had the same problem because I saw that yours looked completely normal. Thanks for the help!

When you paint something, it tightens the joints. That's why the pistons were tight

jabman, do you have a GM custom? or a GM quell? and if so, could you review them please? or are they as lousy as the other 0083 kits?

I don't like how they mold the white parts of the GM a cyanish with white mix.

Nice review and kit this has core block and no core fighter and the rx78 has core fighter but no core block what the hell is bandai smoking the only mg rx 78 with no core block

You must be new. The GM isn't supposed to come with a core fighter because it's a simplified, low-cost version of the Gundam. The core fighter was very expensive, so the GM didn't come with it.

+Kyle Morgan I think he's talking about how the MG Gundam 2.0 has no core block and only has a core fighter.

ahedasukks thanks that is exactly what I meant, I know the gm doesn't have a core fighter, but I wish they gave the rx-78 a core block like this gm has so when you remove the core fighter from the rx-78, it can have a core block instead, all the other mg rx-78 came with a core fighter and core block, except for the mg OYW which doesn't have either one
