Well this delicacy is Obviously meant for the locals and not for foreign tourists. Our insides would die horrible unspeakable horrors on the toilet. Otherwise amazing inside look at the local delicacies that the folks get to enjoy 😮

which food were you speaking of? The one with the rice and all the hot spicing? It can't be the ice cream, can it? I don't know, I think they use a lot of spice, and I cannot figure out the one that is so potent but I know you smell it on their breath the next day - and almost all Indian people can't live without it. My friend was from India and when I got to know his wife as well as I knew him, she admitted that she spends hours per day preparing that evening meal for him. They ate a lot of curry, and sometimes - you'd swear they bathe in it b'cuz it's that aromatic. (The other culture that's big on curry, is Jamaican; and everyone eats it!? I don't know of any European Countries that are big on it, but I know China & Japan are also big on it. I just don't see that attraction. A small taste does me for a long while). It has to be something that you grew up with. I know it was big in the West Indies - well, all of the trade routes sported curry - a big seller. I don't recall ever tasting it as a child. But, the Asian, Indian countries are all BIG on their spices, and then spain, Portugal, Italy, etc. countries - When did that begin to hit the USA? I honestly cannot remember... it must have started w/the shipping industries, the spice trade routes. But, I don't recall that influence where I grew up.

Everyone watching agrees it was made in the most unsanitary way, and we would never eat it. These men, however, are used to their food prepared in this way. They won't get the diarrhea that we would get eating it. It's too bad, too. I'd like to taste it if it would have been prepared in a sanitary way.

You're right. Their immune systems are used to this and it's okay for them. Where for people who come from areas with more food safety regulations and sanitization, we'd be likely to get sick eating food prepared in these conditions. Also, for people from the USA: Though the food in the USA is prepared in sanitary conditions, it's full of chemicals and garbage that much of the rest of the world wouldn't eat or allow, so I don't think we can rightly say too much.

I grow almost all of my own food including meat because we live in a disgusting society. We pay high prices just so we don't have to see it.

Fresh fruit, juices and milk are not likely to cause all the illnesses and agony so many commenters are complaining about. The ice and salt are inside the roller, not touching the actual ingredients. The roller itself was rinsed off before being put on the stand. What a shame they would be so terrified as to miss out on this delicious dessert. But, it leaves more for people who actually enjoy traveling to different places and sampling the varieties of foods available.

OK! You got me - I've subscribed - just so I can catch onto what you are doing when making your specialties. It won my attention, but now I want to taste that ice-cream. Do you keep it primarily for the street sales or have you since gone into the production & selling it at the stores. I don't quite understand why all that fruit went inside, unless it was a slush, (you have a valve on the outside of the stainless steel container? Maybe?) Anyway - it loos like a darn long preparation time to make this stuff. Do you ever run out? What do you do if you run out? Do you have another cylinder to work with that's waiting in case you do run out? Just curious. I doubt I'll be rushing to Bangladesh anytime soon. It's a bit of a distance. I don't suppose you'd have extra time to visit here, either. I'm glad I found this - Congratulations on catching my attention!

less than 40 seconds in I can tell there is NO sanitation here. He takes off his shoes to step on the plastic and his feet are worse looking than the shoes were.. Then with his shoes off he steps off the plastic and on to some grass/dirt area to get gloves?????

For a difference, nothing that touched his feet or the ice also touched the food surface. Literally a layer of stainless steel in between which was rinsed off. So you're all dead wrong about that in this case. The biggest issue someone not from there might have is the water used to dilute if it was not filtered and bottled.

He has a good idea however he has to do it in a cleaner method. He’s using a working gloves instead of a food grade gloves and he has to show the public that he change gloves (white) frequently.

To make ice cream, the ingredients - usually milk (or half milk - half cream), sugar and vanilla extract - must be cooled. One way to do this is by using salt. If you live in areas with cold climates and snow in the winter, you may have seen trucks spread salt and sand on snowy or icy roads to make it easier for cars to move. Why is this happening? Salt lowers the temperature at which water freezes, so salt melts ice even when the temperature is below the normal freezing point of water. Is it possible that the salt used to melt snow and ice is also used to freeze ice cream ingredients? Science is positive. When a freezing point is lowered, such as by adding salt to water, this process is called freezing point depression. If you've ever used an old-fashioned hand-cranked ice cream maker, you've probably put a mixture of ice and salt around the milk and cream container. The ice-salt combination has a lower temperature than pure ice water and can freeze the ingredients, turning them into ice cream. Although pure water freezes at 0 °C, a mixture of water and salt will only freeze at temperatures below 0 °C. A 10% salt solution freezes at -6 °C while a 20% solution freezes at -16 °C . If you've ever watched salt melt ice, you've seen the process of dissolution. The ice surrounding the salt grains melts and the melt spreads from that point. When making ice cream, the temperature around the ice cream mixture must be below 0°C if we want the mixture to freeze. Salt mixed with ice creates a brine that has a temperature below 0° C. This brine is so cold that it easily freezes the ice cream mixture.
