Күн бұрынIn this ON1 Photo RAW 2024 tutorial, we dive into when and how to use the Encircle Brush to create specific masks.
It's part of the Refine Brush capability and it's very easy to use. While Super Select is great, sometimes it doesn't grab the specific subject that you want. Using the Encircle Brush allows you to quickly and easily create a mask for a specific element in your photo.
We'll look at three photos to show you how to get creative with the masks you make using the Encircle Brush.

Excellent video. With ON1 I like how you can use all of the masking tools on any mask. So after you have used the encircle brush you can still refine or feather the mask, add or subtract with the brush etc

Yes, absolutely. The encircle brush is just another way of defining a mask. You can still use other aspects of the Refine brush to get it just right.

I use the 'encircle' sometimes, and other times the Keep/Drop. Depends on the image.
