Take your barbering skills to the next level with this step by step tutorial on how to do a low fade with a hard part. From removing bulk to blending and shaping, MC Barber will show you how to use Oster and Andis clippers and a Wahl open blade for a seamless fade. Watch as he teaches you the tricks of the trade on how to create a hard part and shape up with a straight razor. Get ready to impress your clients with this low fade with hard part haircut tutorial.
-0:27 MC starts by using a 1 1/2 metal guard on his Oster clippers. This will remove the bulk and create his foundation.
-1:15 He will begin his fade using an Outliner (1mm) guard by Andis on his Oster clippers.
-1:52 Next, he switches to his Wahl clippers using an open guard.
-2:50 MC moves to a 1 plastic guard on his Wahl clippers.
-3:36 Fading down, he changes to a 1/2 plastic guard on his Wahl clippers.
-4:34 He switches to a closed blade, adjusting the lever when necessary.
-6:16 To ensure removing the line completely, he goes back to a 1/2 plastic guard on his Wahl clippers, adjusting the lever when necessary.
-6:40 Learn how to create your hard part using Andis trimmers.
-6:58 Going back with a plastic 1 1/2 guard will help avoid leaving behind hair.
-7:46 Learn how shape up a hair line, beard line, and neck line, with a straight razor.
-8:35 MC will teach you how to do a sculpting technique done with a straight razor. This removes bulk while blending the sides and back into your fade.
-9:43 Watch a quick blow dry.
Enjoy!!

I love your work and your videos and thoroughly enjoy learning from them but I have to ask if I'm the only one who has trouble hearing you?? My volume is all the way up but most of the time I have to focus on "listening" to you rather than "watching" your technique?? You're an incredible barber and I'd just like to be able do both at the same time if possible!:))))

Hello mc barber, i'm suprised you can do such a perfect fade in such a short amount of time. If u want to blend from blade fully open to nr 1, u take the 1/2 guard, do u start with the lever fully open and slightly close it to blend the line out or do u start with the lever mid way open? I ask this question to lower my steps so i can kill time for fading. Thank you

Mc barber hi I’m from Tirana Albania 🇦🇱, pretty close to where you grew up. Apart of that, I’m 28 yr and I learned haircuts by cutting my own hair, and now I cut my friends hair, they like it, and I just began a haircut course but unfortunately they’re training it’s nothing like this. Could you please make a video about straight edge rasor technique?

I’d be mad if u only took 20 mins on my hair cut. This cut is okay, but not as good as it could because of rushing it.
@IdrisShenaee
@IdrisShenaee 6 жыл бұрын
First of all this is not a law skin fade, it's a mid fade and still not faded properly plus you spent too much time on this haircut. Shave it with cut throw razor it's easy to fade it in but with a shaver it's very hard to fade it. For professional like you should know what's is law, mid and high skin fade I am only impressed with the way you use a scissors otherwise I could do a better haircut then you and I have been a barber for two years only
@hurgenakindji1146
@hurgenakindji1146 6 жыл бұрын
Decent Barber but if i may say there is too much trying to justify doing things the wrong way. Like rushing a haircut. Its very plain to see that this haircut needs another 10 minutes to smooth off. Also there is no way you can justify dry shaving just because you think it loiks better. There are some good points though
@hurgenakindji1146
@hurgenakindji1146 6 жыл бұрын
Not enough attention to the fade in my opinion. The reason the fade looks so ordinary is that there aren't steps and guidelines involved. But of course 17 minutes is not long enough to do a high quality fade. It's enough to make money though I guess.
