Hey Coach Collin, I'm wondering what you think about some advice I've seen recently that says you should rely two different jump shot forms when playing: 1) a one-motion shot from 3pt range and onward and 2) a two-motion shot w/a higher set point for close/mid-range. I'm generally a one-motion shooter from 3pt range but when I form shoot and pull up for close to mid range jumpers my body naturally resorts a two-motion shot with a higher set point. I also make more shots that way. One critique that I could see is that switching between one and two-motion shots can create inconsistencies in your flow and set point, esp. if you're switching between mid range jump shots and 3 pointers often during gameplay. But to me those feel like two different and distinct shots (similarly to how layups and jump shots are different kinds of shots), so I would think you should be able to mitigate that through practice. Curious to hear your thoughts on this. And love your videos! My pickup game has improved a ton since watching your content and practicing your drills.

I think the move is done in a different way. Harden starts with a under the left leg a few times, then quickly crosses, moving the same leg again almost forward, but a bit to the right, against defendant. Defendant thinks he is passing, and bites to follow. Instead, offense jumps to the side. The way i see it. The fake is a push forward and a jump to the opposite side, while the defendant is guessing.

They might call it just because it will look weird to the ref… At younger levels a lot of times the refs aren’t very good so they call stuff if it just looks odd haha.
