Eighty-four-year-old Kung Fu Grandmaster Zhou Ting Jue has been called a "Jewel of the Nation" in China, however, his past has remained shrouded in mystery. Living in Southern California for the last 20 years, Master Zhou has cultivated a loyal clientele, including A-list celebrities, musicians, and athletes, who seek his unique Qi Gong healing technique--which has attracted the attention of television shows like “Ripley's Believe It or Not” and The History Channel’s “Stan Lee’s Superhumans.” When his 27-year-old granddaughter Jun Zhou, who grew up watching her grandfather on television, develops her own passion for Kung Fu, she also begins to inquire about Zhou's secretive past.
Master Zhou takes Jun on an odyssey through his early life. From San Francisco’s Chinatown, where Zhou first arrived a penniless immigrant, to Shanghai where he mastered martial arts and was later imprisoned by the Chinese government, the duo seeks the mist-shrouded birthplace of Qi Gong--Wu Dang Mountain. Their connection deepens as they visit the poor, rural village where Zhou was born, as he reveals the life lessons and mental strength required to become a Kung Fu master.

The trailer is pretty impressive, mainly because of that one guy's testimony about being in a wheelchair and being unable to walk. Otherwise, it's a pretty archaic expression of skill. You know? Bending spears and swords is best left to the 'contemplative' side of old age. So. It's one thing to understand theory and sense its power, within, as a topic of the mind, but another thing to want seek out a master who does this type of stuff. I mean. Why study this for decades when you're young, when you can be so much more spiritually and martially. Based on some knowledge of the center, just kinda wonder if qi gong doesn't do so much harm to the patient or the practitioner that the body responds by healing. It would make more sense than 'chi' or 'qi' being a miracle energy and 'qi gong' being a miracle practice. If it's the former, it can be studied more easily. But. I don't think these masters would ever want 'chi' to be anything BUT this statement of who they are or where they come from. It's that Chinese way of being indirect about feeling superior. Course. Definitely going to watch the documentary. This guy does have something powerful.

Sadly he passed away this year . Linda Hu , who he trained is also an amazing healer . Not sure if she is still in LA .

Not at all satan is a fallen angel. This man is a Taoist priest Tien Jue his practice is literally called Heaven and earth. Jesus was a healer who used gods power to help others. Thin man had similar powers or skills that he learned to use very much like Jesus

@@erichchavolla5087 if you understood how i have no freedom of religion...you would understand my statements. I get trained and threatened at every inch and corner of my life who to worship and that's Jesus Christ narrow down to the very corners of my existence in great detail. to surrender my soul entirely to Jesus for the profitable gain of others because I have no choice. I grew up in a Catholic faith growing up and learning other religions as well but I'm not in a position of Freedom at all especially religion. The afterlife is completely controlled by the people around me saying who gets in and who goes out who gets Paradise who goes to Satan ....and if I want to live here on Earth of any kind of pleasant existence a better do as they say and worship who they say ......otherwise I'll get it in the most worst ways in my daily life.

In what way does this individual think this helps my biological sister who died and giving compassion like mother Theresa to the sick and poor. There are people in life that can't study nor think. This is why Jesus is the only of to salvation and glory of heaven

Even Jesus Christ (yeshuah of the nazarite tribe) had to learn things such as how to speak Hebrew language and read the Hebrew Bible (the Torah) these things did not come naturally to the son of Yahweh (Jahova) or god as he is known to most of us? Why do you think you have no choice? Are there people threatening your life or freedom if you choose not to believe in god? A good relationship with god should never be out of fear but from love and kindness. Im sorry to here about the loss of your family member but I will tell you that this man is a true master of the healing arts and if you you do not have an open mind and are afraid of learning from things outside your comfort zone it’s your choice. I personally feel like that way of thinking is very limiting and will keep you from many opportunities. I still believe in god and Jesus and I practice healing arts and learning tai chi and Kung fu. It’s okay to check out other things as long as you’re not worshiping false idols or gods who are not beneficial to your beliefs. I wish you well-being and clear understanding. You can believe what ever or however you want. It’s your choice.

@@Iwasrapedandbrainwashed it is not against god or the rules. The name of the practice is literally called heaven and earth. Jesus used gods power to heal others the same way this man does. Jesus Christ also had to learn how to use his power. People are capable of using gods gifts of healing. Please try to have an open mind and think about what Jesus actually went through when he was trying to figure out how to use his powers he had guides and teachers. Healers and the 3 wisemen (3 kings)who brought him gifts when he was born 2 of the gifts were of frankincense or myrrh these were medicine in ancient times and were excepted by his parents. Jesus was born into this world as a human and became an archangel after his death and went to heaven to rule at his father gods side.
