It's so ironic that if riot kept Master YI's old kit as AP alpha strike, it would totally fit into the current meta, as he can be built both ap or ad and is 100 times more versatile.

One thing for early game: make sure your E is up while you use Q, Alpha does almost no damage by itself early now.

Honestly i feel like ad crit build is the most powerful now. Cringebow into guinsoos and then onhit nonsense.... There's a really interesting application where you buy one of the hydra items and just shred an entire team in a single q.

Hey Zwag thanks for the content as always! Day 80 of asking for Battlemage/Exhaust Sona, with guardian, shield bash, bone plating, revitalize, manaflow and gathering, items are lich bane, crown mythic, archangels/seraph's, mejai's, and deathcap (and of course bring Exhaust lol). Semi tankyish and very fast battlemage that does great dmg and utility and can win a ton of duels. Can even work against zed/yas mids.

That last part gave me anxiety for some reason lmao

he sounded just like some master yi main trying to make his champ look mechanically challenging when he was talking about the w auto attack reset and then he proved that it's still more worth not to do and just right click , so mechanically impresive , very tricky

This was super entertaining to watch even if you didn't get to destroy them in a 1v5

Ravenous Hydra should've been last item. Way better that Wit's, and even Tiamat still gives you some on-hit.

titanic hydra interaction with yi Q is quite interesting. if you Q on single target the splash will keep going off but if there is multiple target multi splashes go off all at once at the end

For everyone saying "do Sunfire" While Sunfire does scale with attack speed, it doesn't count as an "On-hit" effect. Go into the test tool, and try it out with rage blade. Guinsoo's doesn't proc Sunfire twice

This is my first game of watching you as it popped up in my feed. 1st ward at 15 mins 2nd ward 21 mins. You don't pull out the dragon out of the pit to avoid what is completely plausible with Xin/Blitz even after you knew they were there. No counter jungling while ahead until 23 mins. Doesn't hand over any buffs to teammates. Typical Chad Yi player.

So I main Yi. I have always done attack speed Yi. Kraken, rage blade, and BOTRK. I find it better than assassin Yi in the regular game. But now it will just be over powered

This rework did nothing. On hit is just even better, but I still see people running around with lethality, and I barely notice a difference. They either need to take the damage out of his Q or nerf the resets on it if it’s gonna be healthy

Day: 54 Play tanky fiddlesticks top and succ em dry :flushed: max W. Choose a buildpath and runes that suits you. I personally went aftershock so when i ult into the enemy team it procks and with my W im unkillable + hourglass if needed. Fimbulwinter and spirit visage are also nice. I still haven't figured out the best mythic for this build so I just go riftmaker, feel free to experiment. Just make sure to bait out enemys cc cuz w. That's how I won lane against an irelia kekw. ( Yone and Garen are a pain in the ass for this build ) Ps. I got muted in the twitch chat for saying that succ em dry joke XD ( inspired by the ap trungle rossboomsocks video ) I couldn't post for a week so I lost 7 days :C

Hey @Zwag, can you please try this build on yi, duskblade, phantom dancer, navari quick blades, attack speed boots, collector, Infinity Edge, and lethal tempo or hail of blades as runes with lifesteal in runes.
