Great video, especially how to undo deep tracking, I had to close the desktop app and start over again if I want to remove the deep tracking and changing it. Now I know how to change deep tracking.

Very helpful. Still pretty new to the X3 and really struggling getting good video from it in anything except very bright outdoor conditions. Been using 360 cameras for awhile, but challenged by the X3.

What is too bad about insta360 studio, is that they still dont have basic edit functions, like split or cut. This forces us to either trim a bunch of little shorts, creat a new project andbadd them all in, or export the entire clip and edit in an external editor like Davinci. Pretty lame IMO, but still better than GoPro.

Hi Simon. Thank you for your videos which help me a lot. May I ask two questions please? 1- With insta 360 after filming do I have to spend a lot of time on computer or mobile phone for editing my videos? 2- on some videos I see that because of 360 wide angle the result of video is very bad. There is a great and bad distortion on videos and some videos the distortion is affordable. Cam I set the distortion ny myself or it depends how I installed the camera on my motorcycle. Such a sincere & meticulous tutorial !! You have shown fine settings like 'Video BitRate' which nowhere else to be seen. Special thx for your work! But (1) What is the max. file size limit (such as 4 GB limit on Osmo Action 3, which causes unwanted fregmentation in a continuous shot) ? (2) I heard its Video bitrate is 100 MB per second default - which results in 60 GB per hour. Can you pl. tell what would be the Video size when bitrate set to 'NORMAL'? Thanks in advance...

Hi, great tutorial. I record in 5.7k 30fps but the video looks out of focus for a split second when stabilized. When I’m 4k 60fps it stabilized properly. Any advice ?

You captured in pure shot, what is turns up in your editor in bw, in the app you can see/ export this photos in colour.

If you have connection to Insta-people, ask them please to add an Edit funktion in PC Software. Where you can simply cut a record in parts, delete what you don't need and to add others together to a one clip , with 360° function staying :) Thanks!"

Where can you play 5.7k or 8k videos unless you spend thousands on a 8k tv so with all the features most of us will be limited to 4k. But great tutorial my friend and a great way for a beginner to learn. Thanks for sharing 😁 👍 👌 🇬🇧

You need high resolution sensors in 360 cameras because those 2 x 5.7K sensors cover a 360 view. However you view the final video, you will be viewing far less than 5.7K. If you reframe the video, the maximum you can export is 4K, but I doubt you are getting real 4K. More like 2K. For 360 cameras to produce true 4K you probably need 8K or 12K sensors. Another reason for high resolution is to counteract video compression. If upload a 1080p video to KZfaq it will look less quality than the 4K upload, even if both videos are viewed at 1080p. It just comes down to the old rule that the more information you start with, the more you have to work with.

Good tutorial here. Really put some time into this. I saved and got an Insta360 for my Hawaii based food and fun channel! It's been a blast and I'm just getting started. I only have 700 subs, so I'm trying to work harder and harder to earn those subscribers. But the process is enjoyable and my only regret at the moment is I wish I had more time to make more videos. (Still work a 40 hr week and got littles to look afterwards) Do you know if you can zoom into a single lens video when you edit in the mobile app?
