Sonic The Hedgehog is the fastest character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate but that's about to change! He was put under a magic spell which made him extremely tiny! Now he must race against all characters to prove he can still win a race no matter what size he is!
This is a Smash Mod Challenge. I used the mod "Taunt For Final Smashes" which I covered in a previous video where every character became tiny and used their Final Smash.

@@monke4163 He takes pride in it. Sonic running into a room and saying what he said is out of character. He does brag about it but the extent in this video is unrealistic. The only way this can be explained is that sense Sonic holds back in Smash him beating people without going his full speed is making him brag.

Considering Sonics size, relatively speaking, he's essentially running twice the distance anyone he's racing is running. If you had sonics track be twice as long and had him at normal size you'd likely see similar results.

Funny thing is despite his size he’s actually running at about 75% of his original speed, in essence from a size comparison he’s actually significantly faster smaller via his perception, despite not actually being faster.

I love how in almost every single Smash Distance covering related video (or racing), every time sonic comes up, people never think to use his spindash, even though it's momentum carries out even when he jumps/falls off a ledge.

(Used from someone else's findings) Limit Cloud is faster than Winged Sephiroth, who is faster than tiny Sonic, so Limit Cloud is faster than tiny Sonic by what I'm 90% sure is the associative property, I didn't pay enough attention in class to remember which is which.

Mach*. Just because he's smaller, dosen't mean he is moving at almost mach 1 "for his size". As you see in the video, small sonic is slower than regular size sonic, so he is not moving at almost mach 1. Your size does not change how fast mach 1 is compared to something larger.

@@oodogla yes but what I’m saying is that he is almost 1/4 of his normal size but doesn’t run 1/4 of his normal running speed but instead runs at about 2/3 of his normal speed and so if you were to size him up along side his speed he would almost be able to reach Mach 1

Mach 1 is one specific speed, unaffected by your size, cause it's the speed of sound, so no he was not

Sonics spindash goes slightly faster than his run. In this case, sonic can beat. Characters like little mac, fox, sheik, wario bike, steve minecart (boosted minecart) possibly mythra, and sephiroth. (He may win against CF too.)

His spin dash travels the same speed, regardless of his size. Mini Spin Dash beats normal sized Sonic in a race.

On the first try for Sephiroth, he wasn’t fast enough as Sonic. However, when he got into his winged form, he got a lot faster than before. I am impressed. 🙂

The majority of those who beat tiny Sonic had to be enhanced. Bike, Rollout, Accelerate, Speed Monado, etc.

Awesome challenge! I’m glad that some great characters can finally beat Sonic in a race when he is tiny. I also like the beginning and the end, it’s super hilarious

Isn't turning Sonic tiny just makes him much faster?In logic tiny Sonic should just makes him much lighter that should turn him into a manace.

If hes tiny, his legs are smaller meaning they cant propell him as far. Also, because hes smaller, the distance traveled is greater.

One thing I have to say is that sonic is actually at an even higher disadvantage, because he has further to run than the other, larger characters. Giga bowser is a great example, as it only takes him a few steps to reach the end, while sonic has farther to go because he starts behind, and the goal is comparatively further away.
