The humor in this series is borderline perfect. The rap battles especially feel well written. Here’s my ranking of the battles from worst to best: #9 - WOTFI 2016: Honestly the slowest paced, and drags on for much too long. #8 - WOTFI 2015: A solid rap battle, but the lower quality drags it down. #7 - WOTFI 2018: Would love to have heard more lines from Waluigi. It honestly feels one-sided. #6 - WOTFI 2019: Pretty meh with a good joke at the end. #5 - WOTFI 2022: The “recap” of how things work was a good change of pace, but I’m not a big fan of the arc it’s connected to. I’m kinda meh on the redesigns (except bob he’s perfect) Past this point are the ones I believe to be perfect, and they’re basically all my favorite. But if I had to rank them: #4 - WOTFI 2023: Solid song, and I like the departure from the standard WOTFI style. My favorite part was with the pizza delivery segment, it just flows so well. #3 - WOTFI 2021: OH MY GOD. This was my #1 for the loongest time, and the arc connected to it was my second favorite. I’ve always had a soft spot for the actual rap battles. R.I.P. Axol. You will be missed. #2 - WOTFI 2017: With how the old WOTFIs were, this is near perfection for the rap battle format. 2017 was the first one I watched, and I loved it. 5 years later, here I am now. #1 - WOTFI 2020: Ok, this one is just amazing. Every part is so well made. The arc it’s connected to is my favorite, and it made SMG3 my favorite villian… until he wasn’t. Honestly amazing. Also, it gave Meggy a voice, which is a fun reference to how Meggy is going to be in every WOTFI from now on. If you have a difference in opinion, make sure to reply. I’d love to hear your opinions.

I think the 2017 one should be first talking of effort. The best thing is that it was so much time ago, and being a long time SMG4 viewer, i know that their videos werent so good at the time like this rap battle. I woukd love a remake of it, seriusly. Thanks for ranking them all tho.

#9 - 2016, its too long and the rhythm its always the same for almost all the song #8 - 2015, Same Reasons than you #7 - 2019, I dont like this one at all, i just put it above the 2016, 17 ones because its more high quality and has some good jokes (and the song is very shit) #6 - 2018, Decent, but i dont like the end #5 - 2017, the best from the 2010's ones, has a lot of effort for being from smg4 2017 #4 - 2023, maybe the worst from the 2020's ones but still very good, i just think the voices dont sound with power (except mario) #3 - 2022, very good how they use law-related things and i love how the use ace attorney references (and the song rhythm its a reference too), very solid generally #2 - 2020, i love all the lines of this song, the meggy voice change moment is epic, the only things that stop it from being first its that some lines sound squished (i dont know if i explain) #1 - 2021, You can feel the emotion in the song, the voices, everything, also this is the only arc of the series that made me cry, so i have a lot of connection with this song

I feel like this wotfi has a deeper plot point. Suddenly, everyone is in the casino except Meggy and Tari. Last time that happened we were in a wild west simulation. Weirdly, that was caused by the same TV guy (check: HELP ME Steam file) we've seen at the end of this wotfi, too.

I think I will update my top 3: 1: 2018, it feels like a rap battle more out of the other two on this list and is incredible to listen to, especially the story arc build up behind it. 2: 2022, I feel like it did the whole shift from rap more to epic musical number better and, like 2018, I found the build up satisfying. 3: 2023, doesn't really feel like a rap and feels more like an epic getaway theme, I do enjoy hearing the SMG's singing bounce off against Mario's singing and Bob's bit were he points out that everyone is singing. I really hold 2020, 2019 and 2017 in a high regard and I didn't really enjoy 2021 that much manly because of the revelation that SMG0 wasn't the real villain but rather was just a misunderstood pawn that didn't even realize he was being controlled by a deranged entity obsessed with chasing an unobtainable goal.

@@MrEpic231 while I did really enjoy the previous WOTFI’s I have seen lots of people say WOTFI was getting stale as it always followed the same pattern that the waluigi arc started. Mainly doing a bunch of challenges then rap battle the enemy. But the complete change in style is a very refreshing sight. Especially sense we can pick the outcome (and judging by WOTFI 2023’s ending it won’t be the last time we see this style)

The entire arc was just very unappealing. I didn't care about axol or melony or anyone like that. In fact I had an entirely different opinion on the series after 2020. Specifically when meggy became human. And I get that they had to change things because Nintendo But I mean I would have just felt better if she just died or something. I was okay with syko (idk how her name is spelled) I was like okay cool throwing an anime character into it that's kinda different And then meggy became human And then tari existed And then this other red haired girl who I don't even know the name of existed And then melony existed And then some guy who honestly looks like an emo robot And then the pink haired weeb And then the cat girl And then the smg4 remodel And I didn't think boopkins could get any worse but then he got a remodel I just really lost interest after all that I just stopped watching the series after last year
