These recipes make about 2 lbs. and fit perfectly in a 33oz shaker.
Put all ingredients in a bowl.. All are measured in cups.
Ingredients for the SPG:
1 CUP Kosher Salt
2 CUP Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1/4 Granulated Garlic(Optional)
Mix all ingredients into a bowl and add to the shaker. A funnel works great for this.

Tommy, I'm concerned about this Masterbuilt XT. Too little smoke, no bark temperature swings. Another concern is that you seem to be the only one using /reviewing it.

What an amazing grill, and those came out looking awesome btw! My wife just took advantage of the Father's day sale at home depot and I got a MB 800 coming, I'm m pretty excited for it! Last night I binge watched alot of your other gravity series videos to get inspired. I'm looking forward to the difference between my PitBoss 850xl. I still need a cover for the 800, if you could please offer your opinion on a cover. I was thinking about going with the masterbuilt but from reviews I've seen it fade in a year or 2 and tear. In your experience let me know what you think is best. Thanks Tommy, keep the vids coming 😊

I had a 560 when they first came out. The cover faded quickly but no tear. I was living in South Florida. I moved to the Atlanta area and have an 800 now. The cover is 2 years old. The orange piping looks a little faded, but it's still black. Again, no tears.

I enjoyed your XT videos the last few months. What I don't enjoy is that the Masterbuilt Gravity XT you use isn't available to any of us. They've been "Sold Out" (hahaha - did they only make a dozen??!!) and have no "inventory" on the XT from the beginning. Did the Chinese cut them off? It's frustrating to see your great smokes when the rest of us can't join the party! Somebody messed up....

49 2074 - I'm in the search for a gravity-fed. I love my OJ's Bronco, but I need extra cooking space. The Tahoma looks good, but the Masterbuilt has my interest as well. Which is the better option? BTW, I like the hat!

10000% the Masterbuilt. That Tahoma is filled with air leaks. So any fuel in the hopper after the cook will just burn out. With the MB you can save it.
