This! I had been following the Gravity series since its initial release and was really torn between the 560 and 1050 models. I wanted the upgraded features of the 1050, but not necessarily all the space (or price); the 560 was too cut down and I would have to mod on the features I needed. This 800 series looks like it hits the sweet spot for me. I'm glad I waited! Edit: ...it looks like many of my BBQ brethren in the comments may have compromised up (1050) or down (560) prior to this 800 series...Hope they can get the new features too!

Such a cracking piece of kit! The massive cooking surface is such a game-changer when you've got a big group of friends or family over. A really compliment to my Kamado Joes!

Is the griddle coming to the 560 &1050

I like the griddle, the extra size, and the shelf, but are there any quality improvements over the 560? People have remarked on the thinness of the lid, corroding charcoal hopper, etc...

Does the gravity defies rotisserie attachment work with the 800? The description says for the 560 and 1050. Thanks.

Can't find this grill anywhere except listed on one Wal-Mart site, but the price was bumped up to $900. Having this sold exclusively through Walmart, is a very poor decision, IMO. I've been waiting, but unfortunately it looks like I'll be looking elsewhere.

My griddle came with sticky stuff all over it that I cant get off i have tried everything

I would love to own this grill but Masterbuilt made the poor decision to sell it only through Walmart. It is never in stock in the store so I ordered it from walmart.com. It arrived a week later than they said and the box was severely damaged. There is a big dent on the grill and Walmart says they can't send me a new one because it is now out of stock. They did offer me a 15% discount if I wanted to keep the badly damaged $700 grill. What a terrible offer. Now I am stuck with this giant half unpacked box and need to arrange the return with a 3rd party delivery service which will happen "2 or 3" weeks from now. Masterbuilt it looks like you made a great product.. and then handed off the keys to the worst retailer available.

When will you have some in stock? And have you guys fixed the issue people were having with the digital part not being soldered well?

I don't get it. Is it a 1050 with a griddle? Or is this just an attachment to add to an existing 560 or 1050 and they are using a 1050 as an example. Much confusion

Unfortunately, the Costco version of this comes without the griddle. I really like the grill, though.

I would love to get the griddle BUT. MY POWER SOURCE WENT BAD 8 months ago and I can't use the grill. This grill is nice but useless if the power doesn't work. Maybe the company will read this. I would caution you. I can't get a human being on the phone. I do eventually receive a nicely worded email, but it ably says they are back ordered. Just send me a new grill or take the power double out of a floor unit I will be posses if I miss thanksgiving

Work on making the 560 and 1050 more durable. We don't need a griddle model. Just buy a Blackstone if you want a real griddle.

That is NOT 800sq inches of "cooking space". The 800 includes the 2 racks (that you've removed).

Why not fix the terrible manifold design that allows grease to pool up inside the manifold, causing massive grease fires?
