Such a difference between Canada's edition and the other countries MasterChef airs on. In Mexico or in the US, you would have th judges being histerical about the silliest things, not judging professionally, but acting like divas. These judges are so kind and respectful to the contestants when adressing the flaws and mistakes in their dishes. It's great.

Qualitatively it's no different than how he judges any other dish so I don't see how this one in particular is different

Someone tell me, do they have a recipe that guides them to cook these stuff? Trevor literally admitted he's never had it before and has never seen it being made. They're homecooks on top of that, who has a different day jobs, not professional chefs. And he ends up making a restaurant quality dish

@@EkonEzg not necessarily they are taught on how it’s made and can read about it and stuff so technically they train for it but when the actual show starts it’s all based on what they learned in training

They have cook books they are given containing all the possible recipes they may be faced with in the season that they can read through in between filming of episodes when they are in there hotel rooms.

Thea making the best mille-feuille in this challenge is a testament of her skills. People always overlook her due to her lack of confidence but she did well in so many pressure tests in season 4.
@DanteLovesPizza
@DanteLovesPizza Жыл бұрын
No, people don't overlook her, people just straight up dislike her because she brings in the waterworks EVERY time she knows she messed up. I can not forget how the judges skewed the comments about her scotch egg and complimented it when it looked terrible. She'd make a much better actress than a chef/cook with her cry-on-cue skills.

@@DanteLovesPizza people like you are the reason why we have such high suicide statistics world-wide. Someone has an emotional personality or an insecurity complex and they’re immediately a cry baby and are ‘intentionally’ manipulating judges and audiences? No. They’re just emotional, and that’s okay.

Only 'rich people' have flour and butter, milk, cornstarch and fruit? Seriously? The difference is quality ingredients vs chemicals. Anyone with sense would make the choice. Also laziness vs being inspired to share baking with others.

Whenever these judges flap their lips, I just want to smack them upside their heads. Why can't they speak normally? Dramatic pause every three words, as if they are thinking about how profound they are after saying - It was sweet.....and very good..... like food..... should be....
