If you haven't watched the 2022 Grammys Butter performance, you must. You just can't guess what they did with the song. They got a big standing ovation from all those star audiences.

These are references believed to be included in the song: Breaking into your heart = stealing ARMY's heart (not a song though) Lewis Capaldi did a song called Let It Roll. It's about missing someone aka ARMY in this case ("Get it"? 😉) Usher did two songs called U Remind Me and U Got It Bad. Smooth...criminal = Smooth Criminal, 80s Gon' pop...trouble = 60s board game and She's Trouble, 80s Break it down = Uptown Funk, 70s homage Bruno Mars song, meaning since the 70s is "let go and dance" Stunner shades = Tell me when to go, 90s Look in the mirror = Man In The Mirror, 80s Rock with me = Rock with you, 70s We don't stop = Rappers Delight, the first mainstream rap song Talk is cheap refers to the criticism about them singing/not singing in english/korean; as in language doesn't matter. (This point is NOT my work. This is a compilation from genius.com.) Knowing RM there're probably more though... 😏 - And last but not least something that kind of made me chuckle when I first saw the MV: They had Jin singing the "like a robber" line and then put him in a tracksuit the exact same colour as the condom wrapping from the Idol explanation video, if you remember! Coincidence?!? 🤔😂 (I know, I know, I'm juvenile in that way. 😜🤭) 💜

This is why we LOVE the Bangtan Bombs! This is the flip side of those very polished MVs. We get glimpses of the real and sometimes silly people behind the "world famous" label. 💜

Next you need to react to their live performance of "Butter" at the Grammy Awards. They should have won a Grammy just on that performance alone. Instead they got a standing ovation from everyone.

Here’s some mind boggling statistics - the Butter mv garnered 10 million views in just 10 minutes, more than 20 million in an hour, and took just 20 hours and 55 minutes to get 100 million views! Also, the viewing count is always up to date. I highly recommend watching both the Hotter and Cooler remixes 😊💜

It’s so funny once you get keyed into their voices how easily you can pick out each one of the 7 singing. They are such chaotic weirdos that I relate to when left with a table of random props. Although most people expect the, to be ultra cool nope we know the truth they are truly ridiculous. So so many bangtan bombs have had me also laughing till my face hurts.

To complete the experience, you need to watch how BTS performed the Butter at the Grammys, making a dramatization of James Bond. The celebrity audience gave a standing ovation.

I love how they flex the power army (and BTS) have aondoiwnediwiendiwoe One thing I love is how well-made, well produced BTS is: they have amazing songs, with deep lyrics, amazing visual production for their MVs, incredible choreographies, they are so professional always that it's beautiful to see them. BUT THEN. But then you see the bangtan bomb, you see the behind the scenes, you see the bon voyages, the in the soop, run bts... and then they're just so funny and can be carefree and so sincere! It's incredible, being army always, always makes me smile 💜

A must watch is the Grammy performance AND the James Corden crosswalk one!

The butter melting video was sooooo satisfying! I was at work so I only watched it under the work screen and checked here and there what was happening with the butter. It was a countdown, so I knew it would take 1 hour. Sometimes I have to play it all over again.

My daughter, who lives 2 hrs away, called me that morning just as they posted the screen with the pat of butter. We both sat there listening to the sounds of a busy kitchen and staring at the butter. After a while, I noticed that the pat of butter SLOWLY, and I mean SLOWLY, slightly started changing shape. I remember yelling out that it's melting. My daughter, who is active in several chats on Twitter, said people were just starting to notice the same thing. We were there for over an hour thinking we must be the only fandom in the world that's ever done this. There were millions of people watching. We watched that darn piece of butter melt all the way out and then the title of the song showed up on the screen. Aawwww......good times, lol!

OMG the melting butter! I forgot about that. I just left it on as background noise and checked back every 10 minutes or so. All the Theorist ARMYs were trying to decode the symbols that would appear and had them all sorted out among the members. I don't think that ever amounted to anything. Check out Butter at 2022 grammys. Jungkoook had been sick with covid and j-hope positive, so they were just cleared to fly in a day earlier. Meanwhile Jin had emergency hand surgery so the choreo had to be changed. They had less than 24 hours. And they had just lost the Best Duo/Group prize 10 minutes earlier. They gained armies, and it was not out of pity.
