Can I ask why you didn't connect the date dimension to the aggregate tables?

At 12:52, there is a big annotation not to forget to create relationships between Date dimension and aggregated tables:)

Hi Nikola, I have a question regarding Manage Aggregations. Since, you have already did the aggregations while creating the Agg tables, may I know why again you are doing aggregations using Manage Aggregations? Can you please clarify?

Hi, I've created agg tables on the data source, but if you don't make Power BI "aware" of aggregations (by using Manage aggregations), when you use fields from the original Direct Query table, your aggregated tables won't be used in the queries, even though that the query can be satisfied from agg tables. Hope this helps.
