@tdawg5253 Thank you for the tip. However, personally I open all meat packages in my clean sink. I rinse/wash any that have been pre-cut to rid of bone grit. Then I clean/sanitize my sink and surrounding area. Basic food prep 101

The only thing I’d say to change is the chicken breast to thighs, might be more work for some. But it makes the best, tenderest skewers. Pinchos never lied.

I typically only eat meat skewers made of shrimp and/or steak because the chicken breast tend to dry out on the grill. But I will try this recipe. For vegetables, I like to use bell pepper, zucchini and onion.

The FDA says a lot of things smh... watch a documentary on what happens in the chicken factories... then, decide if you will stop washing your chicken.

Only people that don’t know anything about science say this. Splashing water on chicken doesn’t make anything safer or cleaner. Period. Unless you’re washing chicken with soap and water, or citrus juice, you’re wasting time and splashing bacteria around your kitchen. Even those methods wouldn’t beat high heat for killing bacteria. These are unarguable facts.

Hey AB. FYI, the FDA is now saying not to wash poultry. Doing so, actually splatters salmonella all over the sink and counters. Best just to pat them dry and cook to 165. I'm liking the series!

Think about it like water. You can boil dirty water and KILL anything that will make you sick but you don’t get rid of them. Still ingesting bacteria live or not

You don’t wash chicken under running water 🤦‍♂️ put it in a bowl peg cold water and lemons/limes or vinegar to wash the slime and all the other stuff off your food.
