How does the spectral content in the wave form display get updated? is it pre-post plugins and can that be affected at user will? so that an EQ can be used to sweep or filter out information that would be undesired?

Some good stuff, Tim...Please, as the spokesman for the product, could you do all of us users a favor and...well,....PRONOUNCE THE NAME CORRECTLY..?? it is NOT Sampeltude. It's Sam PLI tude. Thanks.

yes. but I find each works in its own place, sometimes some audio devices don't like one but will the other. Of course the best is to use the ASIO driver that comes with your audio interface. But if you are using a built in crappy soundcard, you are stuck with one of these.

Aanother method I've found very stable and even better latency, sometimes 5 ms or even 2 is Reaper connected with it's plugin though DAW's, it's nearly flawless. Probably because it's using WDM and not pure asio.

You guys have got to make Samplitude & Sequoia recognize Waves plugins for sidechaining! Other than that this software is pretty cool :-)

Been going around asking this for Idk how long. Does anyone know how to add external effects like outboard compressors

mrjoshua2141 Not sure if this is what you are looking for but to add plugins to a track you just widen the track till you see vol, pan, and Pl where it says no effect....hit the drop down and you will be able to add your vsts whether instruments or effect.....also that is where you set up the path for it to scan your system and add them

mrjoshua2141 I understand that the most recent version, Samplitude Pro X2 can now work with external gear. There was a recent post on how to do this on the user forum.

Being a Samplitude endorsed drummer and producer I agree with Tim and I love this program for my workflow, sessions and productions.
