I got the pro x Suite I was surprised at how quick I got to learn the workflow, the DAW is simply amazing. I use Studio One & Harrison Mixbus with a host of 3rd party vst instruments but with Samplitude I finally can stop buying 3rd party instruments. There is simply a lot that it comes with and they all sound amazing ❤️

I started with Music Studio in 2007 and have worked my way up to Sam 11 & Pro X. Samplitude/Sequoia is the mastering software standard. Very intuitive for computer users.

Vintage effects VE corvex is the best chorus plugin I've used for guitar, highly recommend

pro tools is shivering because of samplitudes mac version. I know both DAWs, and samplitudes audio-editing opportunities are unbeatable!

I' was in love with 'Sequoia' and this feels simular with (dreamy) optimizations I wish I had then. * comPose, edIt, miX, Master!

Here are my reasons for going back to Samplitude: Auto Crossfade (with tweakable default) Comparisonic Colors Object Grouping for quicker multi-input editing. Direct wave editing.. Studio One is great, but I can't think of anything that I'll be missing.. I certainly won't miss the nightmare of editing drums. In Samplitude, you can edit while watching a documentary on youtube.. I mean.. That's awesome and easy..

I have both Samplitude Pro X and Protools 10 . Both are great products & very Powerful , But Samplitude Pro X is ahead of it's time with It's Precise audio Engine neatly wrapped in one Powerful Package, it's worth every penny . And Yes Avid's 3rd Generation m-box will work on Samplitude Pro X . I like Recording , Mixing and Mastering in Samplitude . It is very Powerful and heavily Underrated and really worth more than the price they charge for the software . Not sure if there is a Mac version though .

Hawenam! I'm not sure which screen you're referring too, but it looks like the basic "easy" or "default" screen. I have pro x suite 1, so they have gone on to version 3, but I discovered this 10 years ago through their home programs and did a review of it and once trying the pro version I used it from then on, it's not only a huge machine it's the best and most user friendly program I've ever tried and ran at 16-32 bit and I hear something about 64 - don't quote me - but I haven't gone back to Cubase, pro-tools or Sonar since getting this and it had a dozen discs to install it was as I said huge and I may never use something else again, but the support in North America, Canada specifically stinks, it's in Germany so a LD phone call that costs mucho dollars to call, but if they ever put up an 800 number they could break big, very big. I would love to be able to afford Sequoia, I am told it's a monster program, but after I did the home version 14 review I was so sold I asked to try the pro, so they gave me a download of the 10 pro version and the licence to get a better idea then version 11 and I began to write what was going to be a huge review, but the magazine fired me, so I never got it done, but so amazed by the program I bought the upgrade and would have done an even better review it just gets better and better. It's great capital G!

This seems to be on sale for about $145 in a bunch of places right now. I'm a rookie at the home recording thing and I know nothing about Samplitude, so I would really appreciate videos that include the actual sounds in the background as opposed to some unrelated soundtrack. I can tell this is pretty great from all the glowing comments below, but I'd just like to register that suggestion because I just watched this and have no idea what tracks will sound like using Samplitude. So... simple request.

Samplitude has so unbeliveably precise audio engine,that you get the feeling some samples actually sounds wrong!!! Because no other DAW reproduces sound so perfect.. Pro Tools is like 7 years behind..

what is the control surface they are showing in the video?

I have no idea why when I make a backup from Samplitude to a final wave, I get a stereo file sounding totally mono and terrible sound, who can help me to identify the problem? I am using Samp X Pro 14, thank you in advance

whoa!!! this D.A.W may be the next pro audio industry standard. I been thinking 4 quite sometime jumping ship from Apple 2 pc because, I don't like that fact u can't modify mac by upgrading on your own like ram and hd who care about retina in the pro audio world its all about profit$ and as 4 avid they just like "apple" I'm selling my iMac and macbook pro as well as pro tools 11 and Mbox 3 pro its time 4 a change. IMMA bout 2 fuck with samplitude and ADK pro audio laptop!!!

All Samplitude needs to do is come out with mac versions! THEN SAMPLITUDE WILL SMASH THE INDUSTRY STANDARD "PROTOOLS"
