In this lesson aimed at beginner/early intermediate players, I take a look at what a power chord is, and show you a couple of the most common ways to play them on the guitar. Please go here for much more info on the lesson: www.anyonecanplayguitar.co.uk/...

I've been around on KZfaq to get guitar lessons… most are just "See how good I am - show Of". You are down to earth and give our newcomer the hope that learning how to play guitar can be a good thing. Thank you. Lasse from Denmark

Having played guitar for 53 years with the usual six string chords a a folk singer/church worship leader, I never understood power chords. In ten minutes you have explained it all brilliantly. Well done! PS. My music theory is very good which I suppose helps a lot.

After 53 years you'd think you'd just pick them up and naturally learn them yourself without been shown? Lol
