We service / repair Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki, John Deere, Cub Cadet, Toro Tecumseh, Loncin, Honda, Craftsman, Husqvarna, MTD, Troy Bilt, Simplicity, John Deere, Exmark, LCT, Generac and many more brands. We work on riding mowers, walk behind mowers, snow blowers, zero turns, generators, pressure washers and much more. We normally repair about 3,000 pieces of equipment every year and look at many more that are beyond an affordable repair. I liked this video. I have had this timecutter for 2 years and wondered if I need to service the drive hydraulics and adjust the forward/reverse handles as one is slightly ahead of the other? Thanks

You can definitely adjust the travel of the handles to fix this unless one of them is slipping. Thanks for watching!

Any info on what plugs, belts , blades to stick to get going? I’m doing a mobile blade sharpening and get a lot of requests for tune up which I can do ( doing at my house for drop offs and neighbors) but don’t carry any stock. Not all homeowners know how to find motor number or model type. Excellent video. Thank you.

We work closely with distributors so you can drive the price down. Medart, Power Distributors and Oscar Wilson will cover 99% of what you need to order. They have minimum orders for free shipping but almost always next day delivery depending on when you order. We only stock stuff we sell a lot of, mostly MTD stuff and blades for almost everything

Awesome video! I have a time cutter an it’s running rough, I’ve changed plugs an it ran better but then fowled out again I think it’s running rich what could be the problem?
@IndRepair

Stuck float in the carburetor is a likely cause. Bad fuel or moisture in the fuel will cause it to smell rich sometimes also

It is an OEM tools 1.5 gallon (6L) have like it s lot better than any of the other brands I have used. I have been through a lot of them over the years, the OEM tools one is 1 piece construction so it won't leak out of the bottom if you happen to get something that is not good for orings in it

I have a slow leak on my left hydro. I wanted to add some fluid. Should I fill atw to the top??
@IndRepair
@IndRepair 8 ай бұрын
The service manual says "Fill the ZT-2100 and ZT-2200 (EZT ®) so the oil level is .75”-1.50” (19-38 mm) below the oil fill port" That is hard to do if you cannot see the top of the fill port but if you can get it in there this was get it done otherwise the hydro will have to be pulled to fix the leak and refill

Usually on the Toro website for the model but does not include engine electrical. Do you have a model number handy that you are looking for in specific?

How do I level de deck? The left side it's an inch lower than the right side.
@IndRepair
@IndRepair 2 ай бұрын
Go to www.toro.com/en/parts/partdetails?id=53158&iid=462404&pid=511604 and you can see the diagram for the deck lift. If you look at part number 6 it is a bracket with different holes in it. To raise the side that is low install that side in a hole that holed the deck up higher than it currently is. Thanks for watching!

Why do you say in the description you can use champion RC12YC but in the video you say it's not the right plug that's in it? I have the same engine and use the RC12YC without any problems but if I need to change to NGK I'll do it. Thanks good video as always.

I was thinking it was the larger plug BPR6ES and it is not. The plug you are using is just perfect. If you want to switch to an NGK BKR6ES would work perfectly. Thanks for watching!

@@IndRepair Thank you! I use 5W30 full synthetic oil because here in Quebec Canada it can get very cold. I fear this engine might be underpowered for a 42inch deck more so if you add a bagger or mulching kit. What is your opinion on its size? Have a good day
@IndRepair
@IndRepair Ай бұрын
I would agree a bagger kit with this engine would be underpowered

This is crazy. I’ve watched 20 plus toro videos to find a drain on 75740 and the only one (this one) has the guy using a specialty tool to remove the damn oil. Absolutely infuriating trying to just drain this damn thing.

Same plug specs and length just a different size head on it. They make different version boots of this same engine, which I was unaware of. No need to guess, it's not rocket science.
