Is the raw umber paint oil or acrylic?

It’s oils. But you can get a similar result with acrylic. You just can’t erase acrylic

@@MazArtStudio do you mix zest it or some other medium to the dark paint as well? To make it thin?

Just the paint with no medium?

It means I wasn’t adding further medium to the paint. When I add medium I add very little because it makes it much to slippy to work with.

@@danmaher7947yes that’s correct. After I put the initial wash with medium there’s no need to add any more.
