Didn't know for renewal you need to get back to IOV tests and all

That applies for a lapsed license. A lapsed licence is one that has been expired for 24 months (two years) or more.

You may need to visit a driving school to assess your driving skills and prepare yourself for the IOV assessment. The price may depend on how many lessons you need to be ready for the assessment. However, nearly a 3-year license which i acquired would cost UGX 230,000 according to the Ministry of Works website
