This video is a masterpiece. It’s held in such high regard it was placed on display at the Museum of Modern Art here in New York City.

This is a masterpiece. Visually, it’s made by Chris Cunningham who also directed Madonna’s frozen, which is also a favorite of mine song and video wise. The lyrics, bjorks voice, and the production make this just awe inspiring and spine tingling

Madonna's weird 90s darkpop era was absolutely her best by quite a long way.

The slightly frustrating thing is the music video actually sounds different to the song on the album, and also better. You actually have to watch the music video to get the best version of the song.

@@Hardcastle83 The video version is also on her greatest hits album, and is the version she initially wrote and recorded. The version on the album is actually a remix. She used the remix to give a calm, hopeful end to Homogenic after the riot of "Pluto" which directly precedes it on the album.

The video for Pagan Poetry is a stunning piece of art. It adds a shocking amount of emotion to the song. It and All is Full of Love are my top two favorite Björk pieces.

Note how she sings around the mechanical machine produced beat. So much of this era of her work seems very much about humanizing machine created music.

New subscriber here! 😊So happy you appreciate the otherworldly Bjork. It was love at first sight and sound for me back in the eighties when she was with the Sugarcubes. When she belted out "Birthday", I was like, "Whaaa?!" And it's been love ever since. She fills up my senses. If the spirit moves you, take a look/listen to "Hunter".

It always irritates me when people say Björk just screeches like Yoko Ono. You can tell they have never really listened to her. She has some absolutely beautiful songs with beautiful vocals like this one. There is a behind the scenes video on KZfaq showing how they made this video. They were worried it was going to look awful but it obviously turned out amazing. Is considered by many as one of the best music videos ever made.

This version is so much better than the album version! The video is a piece of art! And so is the album! It was directed by Chris Cunningham, the same guy who directed Madonna's Frozen!

This was the closing track on 1997's Homogenic. It has 2 versions (Mark Bell & Howie) I was barely leaving my teens when this dropped & my brain wasn't fully developed to Comprehend & Appreciate this Artisty. But later on , after life experiences and Just LIFE, this song is the perfect encapsulation of This World that surrounds us. Even the most mundane of objects serves its purpose and is necessary & made with love even Electronics/Technology. It truly made me take a step back and notice, appreciate & respect all the little factors around our every day lives that help us be , Connect and Explore. All made with care , therefore full of Love .

I think this was the first DVD single release which included the video and maybe the audio as two separate DVD files, I remember buying it when it released. I was obsessed with her videos and this made them easier to get hold of since we didn't have them on tap with YT in the 90s😅

@@bridgethegapreactionsyea it’s a great video also. Was filmed with a 360 camera. Was on display in one of the museums in Reykjavik. You went in a room with a 360 screen and she circled you while singing. The crew had to hide behind rocks to not show in the video 😂

I basically listen to music for a living and bjork blew me away decades ago at 14 years old. I used to skateboard around listening to her with a big CD player. I randomly looked her up one day because in the CKY2K video, The now legendary roots of jackass, she has a very very tiny mention by bam. I think when they're tripped to Iceland they tried to visit her. I also got way into the band CKY. History.. Some of her live compositions are beyond comprehension - thom yorke said unravel was his favorite song, And it's one of my favorites as well. The live riverside version is otherworldly.

This is actually the original version. The version she used on the album is the Howie B. remix. She swapped it in at the last minute because she felt it worked better as a closer to the album after the (amazing, brilliant) noise of "Pluto".

"all is full of love" is named among the best music videos of all times. by the way, another björk video is also phenomenal, "wanderlust" as well as the video for "who is it" if you want to be playful and take action yourself, you can play with the camera on her video for "stonemilker"

Bjork was annoyed by listeners saying, Oh there's no soul in electronic music- as tho you'd look at a violin lying there and say, Oh there's no soul in that- you have to put the soul into it yourself. I think Chris understood her sentiment and this vid is just that, a sorta en-souling.
