I love the fact that you did all three in one go. It really sets the message of the whole thing. It is a shame and even knowing this and being aware of "the money game" does not make one immune to it. We all would be giddy if we won the lottery tomorrow and would find ourselves easily sucked into the world of glitz and glamour. It is intoxicating. I have to say though, for me, I am incapable of being filthy rich like the greedy buggers we have now. I can't watch children die from cancer or old people rot away, neglected and uncared for in a nursing home. I want my toys and trinkets, of course, but I just couldn't wallow in ten-thousand-dollar bottles of champagne on a five-hundred-foot yacht while I know that people are suffering, broke and without the basics of survival.

Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning of MG3! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite 1 take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, for obvious reasons. Yet another incredible performance from Ren and overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)

@@davemcc9642 I saw him say that, in the NME interview but I think it was just a slip. It was meant to be a single take but they had to make a single edit during the wheelchair sequence, as the 'rain machine' was malfunctioning. Both Ren and Sam have said so, in some detail, in various livestreams and in the Making of MG3 Video too. 🙂

Hi Loopy! Guitarisr us Romain Axisa guitarist from The Big Push and Ren's roomate for 6 years. Oetrol was actually a mux of olive oil and something. It was a one rake but it took the 183 tries to get it samuel Perry- Favel, the cinematographer says this was his best work until Money Game 3! But this was done on a shoe string budget. Nice reaction!❤ There was ONE cut on the back of the wheelchair for safety's sake in case they messed up the rain. But they had to get it.

So part one took 183 tries. The petrol was a mix of olive and veg oil. The guitar player was Romain Axisa from Rens band The Big Push, he’s an incredible guitarist and singer Part 2 was basically about Shell oil company. Of which you clocked the callback from Hi Ren to MG2. Part 3 was a one take up until they pan past the wheelchair before the rain scene as they could only do that bit once. The rain at the end obviously symbolised the chorus from the first two. Ren always has callbacks to songs in virtually everything he makes. MG3 was incredible! I love his piano playing and his voice at the beginning makes me melt 🤣 Great reaction, glad to see them all together 🖤

Money Game 3, you will be singing rain rain rain when it actually does "rain" I know I do. :) My thoughts on MG3, a memory. When he put the gun [I know is a prop] to his head my memory flashed back many years past when one of my brothers was in his room holding a gun to his head, I didn't see that part, my mom did and she slowly and carefully got it away from him and with out turning around she called me over to take it and hide it away. I held that thing in my hand as if it was some venomous snake about to strike, with two fingers on the grip I carried it to mom's room and held my breath as she talked him down. My brother was ill, physically and none of us knowing for sure from what, until the coughing and blood became obvious. He spent two years in hospital in Florida, where we were living at the time, in the tuberculosis ward. The TB he contracted from his father when he visited him. After that visit awhile later our dad was in hospital for TB, none of us knew then that my brother carried that virus, several years later, just percolating away in his lungs. Of course all his family and friends were tested, lucky no one got it, since most had been vaccinated years before. After that ONE time, only one time in my entire life I ever touched a gun, any loaded hand gun. I never went near another one since. I am now 74 years old and hate guns because of the insane way some people use them, either for good or for ill, there is never a reason to own a gun. That is my own personal opinion, others may disagree and spout all kinds of reasons when saying they are safe, and fun or for security. We don't live in the wild west of old, but maybe we still do. I will still never have a firearm in my home, ever! Other than that, the whole story was outstanding! Ren of course outstanding. A quick and condensed life of one man with a father that only cared about money, what about Jimmy? Did his father ever show pride? I don't think so. I know my father never showed pride in any of his 6 children.
@LoopylugsReacts
@LoopylugsReacts 9 ай бұрын
Wow what a story, im so sorry that happened... Just goes to show no one really knows what could be going on in someones life. Is your brother better? Yeah i agree with you regarding guns, I remember the school shooting in Scotland in a small village called Dunblane after that there was strict gun rules in Scotland since then there has been no other school shootings and only a handful shootings happen in Scotland. we don't have a high population in Scotland 5-6 mil. I agree regarding the story the words of a father can effect how a child will live their life as it sets a precedent for their life heading forward... greed is one of the worst traits and people who are successful in their greed aren't happy, i would rather be happy than rich and alone! Thanks for opening up regarding your life, glad to see your 74 and still enjoying strong and powerful music. Thanks for the support on my channel. Much Love

@@LoopylugsReacts Thank you Loopy for a reply/comment. Re my brother, he did survive the TB for many years, but he had other issues. He was the youngest of my brothers, only 4 years old than me. But he passed away recently about 2 years ago. I still have one remaining brother, the eldest he is now in his 80's. So one the oldest and me the only girl, the youngest are still kicking, we both don't know for how much longer though. I have my health issues now, bummer. I do remember about the shooting in Scotland, it was shocking. America, for some reason, just loves guns and will fight to keep them. A very upsetting state of affairs with so many weapons around and killings by sick people that happen here so often, it's just sad. I do love music, almost all kinds of music. I think I only have a slight distaste for some opera, and some but not all hard rock, heavy metal, hip hop. I grew up in a different era, the 1950's and 60's. Around the same time always hearing my parents music from their era as well, I love the 1940's music and big band style. Ren is amazing but he isn't the only one that is amazing in this world of music, a lot of very talented people giving us wonderful things to listen to. Thank you again. Have a great day.

Yep, what movies with dark themes have "taught" us is that people who are "going through the trouble" of setting up a controlled environment to torture/murder someone, set things up "like this" (or including elements such as these) that make it more certain that you'll be able to clean the scene up afterwards, the idea being that the cops won't be able to find any DNA to help convict you. Suuuuuuuuuuuper gruesome details to build this video around /shudder

part 3 we are not dealing with a kid that as been spoon fed and as been given everything on a silver platter. We are talking about a kid that had to work hard, really hard, to please a dad that expected too much out of a kid. the dad is obviously wrong but it doesn't mean anything to the kid. i don't want to sound offensive or anything, but i think this is an important part of the meaning of the song.
