Great little documentary about the very underrated Chris Goss. "How high the moon" ist still one of the best live albums of all time. Hope they make a new album soon.

So happy got a cassette of masters of reality so long ago 1980s....I knew they were better than the world could take.... Ginger baker on drums was what my older cousins introduced me to when he was in cream.....john brown...... they were so original back then.......sugar girl......etc........

I was there with my brother back in 2001 in Tilburg... It was pre mortgage era and we literally didn't give a shit... My God I miss these days sometimes, and when I do it's deep... The line up was incredible and will never happen again I'm afraid...

One By One do Foo Fighters e Deep in the Hole do Masters of Reality. Tive a felicidade de acompanhar este período de lançamentos ímpares pro meu gosto: álbuns que até hoje eu gosto muito. Se escutarem estes discos em sequência, como já fiz, perceberão as similaridades estéticas entre eles. Destes álbuns, Goss só não produziu o do Foo Fighters. Mas é nítida a influência da sonoridade do QOTSA e Goss nas composições do One By One.

I still regret missing their show in Knoxville on the Sunrise tour when i was in college. They played in this little shitbreather bar on The Strip

Yes this is great what a gem.whats weird is I got into masters of reality in highschool like 87,88 ,89.me and my two best friends and my brother.no one else in school or anywhere knew them or to them or anything man that's all I listened to for two years straight was the bluegarden album dude FUCKn dorledenias prophecy, kill the king unbelievable.inean literally two years I listened to nothing else and noone out side our little group.ever listens to them.they did end up having a video for domino.i accidently got turned onto them one of the group bought the cassette one day on a whim and really cause he just liked the cover art it was so cool well he listened toy and my other friend was a truly gifted naturel musician at the time he has been playing the drums professionally for 7 years and had a real good ear for music so once he heard it all he loved the drums you know he turned me on to it and we just listened to that album that's always listen we didn't know really nothing about them who they were you know I didn't know Chris Goss but man we love that album so later on after that I go to college and I get turned on to cash in a very similar way but an accidental way I had a couple neighbors that I heard this music jamming one day and then I smoked pot with them and I was getting went over there to get some weed or something and who are y'all playing what is that man called guys so I don't know if you can buy anywhere around here I'll make you a tape so he made me a cassette tape of it man and I have it I had I think it was welcome to sky valley I can't remember I think I got both of them sky valley just all listen to for like 5 years 4 years it's about it you know those guys about 2 weeks in Dallas on freaking label and so you know I listen to cash thing and I didn't have the albums at the time so I didn't know Chris gossip but having anything to do with them so once I got once I got that one of the albums or queen of the Stone age came out I can't remember I realized hey this is produced by Chris Goss I wonder if that's the same Chris gospel message reality that's at the time you couldn't get a lot of information about and he's been a very underground kind of extremely underground where I was at in Texas so I end up seeing an interview or something with Josh and he happened to mention that message of reality is one of his favorite bands so I was like what that's another person I ever heard new messages those two bands a price on the major albums and bands that are in my lifetime that you know very underground and unheard of and they're connected together and and I connected together with both of them and Josh and Chris are best friends man it's something there there's something there I don't know if it's in the ear and the heart or whatever you know these guys are got a lot of integrity they they take their music serious not too serious but they like to put out good music man they just have something they just have a groove in The soul Man they have a lot in your heart for it they're good I think they're good people lately respect music they respect each other's music and man you know I've never seen them play together so I'm really just blown away there's two of my most favorite people ever in music I've never really seen a lot of stuff about Chris but I know he's seems to be a very nice man and but very serious about his music and Josh you know what can you say you know people so he's probably one of the most important maybe the the most prolific original musician and artist in living or been living in the last shit in 10 15 20 years I mean you know there might be sleeping without more songs or this is many but not good intelligent not I'll tell you but it's not good solid music and the guys just man I mean he said if you're not changing or progressing as a musician then what are you doing that's the whole point of it I mean you just you know
