Great work Dave .i love your lettering and incised carving ,,great to see tools been used instead of noisy and dusty machines,,people are loosing the skill of their hands and leaving it all to the machines,,

Tom Angle my immediate thought exactly. Those 3 guys with the thumbs down need to get their heads examined, something is extremely broken.

First, I agree with all that you have said. But I approached this expecting to see this craftsman at work. While I was disappointed I cannot deny the beauty of what he creates. This might explain the negative reaction by, as I write this, 3 people. I was one of the thumbs up.

wildough good luck finding one. I've been on the hunt since filming Dave a few weeks ago. The demand is far greater than good makers are producing.

Amazing work! I just got my first logs and an adze and wanted to start practicing...how do you dry your pieces after you finish carving with greener wood so it doesn't crack?
